Surprised this wasn’t mentioned earlier in the thread.MayDay10 said:When that photographer stunned Hulk Hogan with the exploding camera and Yokozuna won the championship at the 1993 King of the Ring0 -
Absolutely on the tuck rule. either a horrible rule or a horrible call. Raiders were royally screwed.Wobbie said:
Forgot about that one!markymark550 said:Colorado's 5th down. It wasn't a particularly important game at the time, but without that win they don't win a share of the 1990 national championship.
the fucking tuck rule. Raiders got hosed. Official still swears it was the correct call. Looked like a fumble to me.0 -
Not to mention Fuji throwing salt in the Hitman’s eyes just two months earlier. To quote McMahon, “Come on, ref!!”MayDay10 said:When that photographer stunned Hulk Hogan with the exploding camera and Yokozuna won the championship at the 1993 King of the Ring

All of the players refuse to accept the silver. I think the IOC offers them the option to accept every year, or maybe every other year, but it has to be a team decision. At one time, one of them said his wife wanted him to accept it for their kid and he was ok with that. They since divorced and he doesn't want it anymorecutz said:
Some of the players still to this day refuse to ever accept the silver medal. I think one or 2 even put that in their Will.tempo_n_groove said:1972 basketball olympics Russia vs USA.
I can somewhat understand an official missing a call in the course of a game for various reasons. I don't know what you'd call this though. Blown call doesn't do it justice. Maybe the most egregious abuse of power during a game?0 -
They did it not once but twice. The Russian team on their third attempt were successful in scoring and a whistle wasn't blown.markymark550 said:
