First, the App is great. But I have two issues with it.
1) Tags are counted as songs. They are not songs. I would suggest to separate out tags and songs when looking at totals. If someone went to only one show, and the only song played was Daughter (tag-WMA), then the total songs heard would be 1, and the total tags heard would be 1. When the band started going to shorter sets, nobody was counting Daughter tags when they were disappointed they only played 24 songs.
2) This is related to the tag, but I've now received a Trophy for seeing all of Gigaton played live. The app is counting the Comes then Goes tag to Wishlist at Pitt 2 as hearing Comes then Goes. While it is mentioned as a tag, for some reason I get the Gigaton trophy because I was at Pitt 2, but if I hadn't been at Pitt 2 I would not get the trophy (hence, they consider hearing the tag then hearing the song). If I pull up Gigaton, it tells me I heard Comes then Goes. It hasn't been played. No one has heard it.
I'm not interested in trophies. And this is small potatoes, but I've heard people say I've heard X song before when clearly it was just a tag. Again, not a big deal at all and I'm not going to correct someone.
I see what you are saying. However I have had the Gigaton trophy since last year - well before this tour. I think they gave it knowing that Comes Then Goes may never be played. If you click on it, this is what it says:
Yeah, but if you remove Pitt 2 from your list of shows seen, you lose the trophy because they now consider CTG's to have been played live. So if you had the trophy before, and didn't go to Pitt 2, you would have lost the trophy.
Same deal as Vitalogy and Stupid Mop. The app considers Stupid Mop to have been played so no one has the Vitalogy trophy unless they were at the Melbourne 1995 show.

Wow. I didn't know that. Glad I was at Pitt2 then. It was amazing seeing that - even if it was only a tag. And the way Ed kept looking up to the sky was so emotional - also after Hunger Strike.
I'm not concerned about the awards (or anything about the App). But there is an App, and it tracks stats, so I think it is okay to question when you click on album that it says you saw a song that has never been played live.

I don’t know how anyone can count Comes Then Goes. He literally just said the line three times. I can hardly tell it’s even a reference to that song.
The app is crap. (I exaggerate, but there is so much bad information feeding into it. Thankfully, I have kept track of set lists for the shows I've attended on my own, so my data are irrefutable!)

bit strong, that app is absolutely fantastic imo
I love it and now my daughter seems addicted to it...checking out where songs have been played, how often, etc. It's a great conversation starter for our family!
Great App and I appreciate the creator for keeping it updated. It's free, yet people find things to complain about, ridiculous. LiveFootsteps is also very good (and free).

The app is great. Maybe a couple small flaws but overall is fantastic

Not complaining. Just odd that they count a tag as seeing the song played. That's all.
I was looking through it earlier and noticed that I had seen WMA 5 times and thought to myself, "there's no way that is true" But just tags lol. It's a minor blip on an otherwise great app.

Yeah, it says I have Vs. as 100% because of the W.M.A. tag I got once.
