To those of us in attendance that legendary evening, let raise a glass or light something up in honor of what occurred 15 yrs ago. Classic hits, one offs, rarities, amazing crowd, and oh yea... a decent poster! We got it all that night. I know what boot I'm listening to today! And away we go....

I always wish I had a better experience for that show than I did, it got mildly ruined by two people smoking in front of me almost the entire show and the venue didn't do anything about it, I finally found a place to stand and enjoyed the rest of the show. Do wish I still had that Kong poster though...

Still the best show of theirs I’ve ever seen. I’ll be chasing that forever. Unforgettable night. You could tell it was gonna be special right from the jump.

This show and poster has to be at or near the top for best combo of show and poster quality.

Wasn't there but probably the bootleg I've listened to the most over the years.  Energy from that crowd was incredible.

10c gave me front row Stone's side for this show.  1st and only time seeing them from the front row.  One my all time greatest PJ experiences ever.  Everything was perfect- venue, setlist, performance, seat, friend I sat with, poster...EVERYTHING.  I got one of Jeff's picks, and one of the setlists from the stage.  This is easily the most listened to bootleg I own.  This was my first show after the Spectrum run in 2009, and afterward, I felt that I had seen and experienced everything a fan could ever hope and dream for. Everything since then has been gravy for me.  I will be forever grateful for the 5/21/2010 MSG show.  I can't say enough about it.  I'm so thankful for my experience that night.

That must have been amazing !!  Was that when the 10 club used to grab random 10 club members with not so great seats and move them to the front row ?  I was way back in the 200's and it still blew me away

Listened to first half on PJ radio. I always remember Hartford from 2010 (and of course 2013] as being super loud but holy shit the crowd was  crazy loud during the first few songs of this show. corduroy was bonkers.

It really was.  Back then, you had no idea what type of seat you were getting because they were held for you at the box office.  When I got in, I picked up my tickets and my friend and I looked them over.  I'll never forget, my friend said that he thought we should use his tickets because he thought his seats might be better.  We looked at the venue map podium and couldn't find my seats anywhere.  Then I checked the numbers at the front of the stage...and saw my ticket matched the area.  it was confirmed.  I couldn't believe it.  It felt like a dream.

Well, I got lost in NYC for starters! I flew into the city (LaGuardia, I believe), and my cousin was graduating from West Point the next day. My cousin's family had a hotel closer to West Point so the hotel was in New Jersey. I arranged to get on a bus at the airport that was supposed to take me to a train station - I can't remember which one, maybe Penn Station (?), but all of a sudden, the bus pulls over and the driver orders everyone off the bus. He told us, another bus should be arriving soon, and it will take us the rest of the way. So, everyone filed off the bus, and within minutes the store owner of the place we were all standing in front of, comes out and yells at us saying we can't wait in front of his store, and that we had to wait across the street. So, a little confused, we all cross the street. Well, the second bus never showed (big surprise). People began wandering off, and somehow, I attached myself to a man from a small county in Africa (who didn't speak the best English). He told me he was going to walk to the Port Authority, and that I could probably catch a bus to New Jersey from there.

So, we walked the streets of NYC -- I had my first NYC hot dog and I saw Times Square! When we finally reached Port Authority, intuition or something told me not to go inside and get on a bus. I decided to get a cab instead, and get it to take me to the train station. It was literally right around the corner! I made it to the hotel in New Jersey with just enough time to put my stuff down, get my cousin, and hop back on the train to go back into the city. We picked up my 10C tickets -- which ended up being really low down on Mike's side, right behind the VIP/ family section. Insanely good seats.

The show ran so long, we had to run to get the last train -- which we later found out, did not go all the way to the stop by our hotel. Two girls (who also attended the PJ show) overhead us talking, and offered to drive us the rest of the way to our hotel.

The next morning (maybe 3-4 hours later), we were up super early for my cousin's graduation at West Point. President Obama was the keynote speaker. It was pretty awesome.

After graduation, we drove back into NYC, got a hotel for the night, had some amazing Italian food in Little Italy, and then I had to leave to come home the next day.

Incredible trip. One of these days, I'll make it back for another PJ show.

The tall buildings mess with the GPS big time.
I live in NJ and go to the city often.  But I have zero sense of direction and luckily I have a few buddies that work up there and handle all the directions and train schedules.  I can get to Yankee Stadium and back on my own even without GPS, but anything in Manhattan leaves me clueless.

This show rules and it’s still probably the third best show they’ve played there. Man do they throw down there.

THIS guy gets it. “Why the fuck is everyone out skinning cats”.  Called slow Lukin right then!  Might have been super super high.  Over 150 PJ shows. Over 150 DMB shows and THIS weekend was number 1 ALLTIME.  Maybe I trade it for closing if the Spectrum in Philly over Halloween weekend, swing and a miss. Didn’t   go for some reason. But this weekend was EPIC. The boys made it the BEST.  Slept in a bathtub in a suite that we got upgraded to, because you know. Their fault for losing our reservation that I canceled.Long story. Dalia lama was in NYC that weekend. Puerto Rico parade weekend.  Had the BeST lobster roll in the history of ever on the streets.  Told a taxi driver I wanted my change from 39.90$ (40$) as he was making up some shit about not being able to stop at to locations at 3:30 am in the morning. Then magically was okay but passed and wanted my ten cents. Almost got killed by the taxi driver who chased us for 6 miles.

Kids.  Music is EPIC. It’s LIFE CHANGING    Don’t get old.  And chase yer favorite bands all over the World. I promise you’ll be glad you did.
