To the PJ fans who were supposed to fly Frontier out of Philly Friday afternoon

What happened to you all? FYI frontier cancelled the flight from PHL to Pitt at 2:45pm Friday. The flight was supposed to leave Phl at 1:45pm.

I had a real life ‘planes, trains and automobiles’ and actually walked into PPG arena as Footsteps was starting.

Got an Uber to my wife’s work to get our car and drove 5 hours straight. Made it to the show before 8.

Was definitely stressful as hell thought and I really feel like they owe us something more than a refund. Insane.

I've been flying SW 5-7 times a year for 20 years or more with maybe 1 problem that wasn't weather related.
In fact I'm sitting on my SW flight back to Denver from Pittsburgh as I type this.

I used to fly a mix of Delta and SW.  Usually SW for some direct flights to specific locations plus the free 2 bags when it was needed.

Then during like a 3 year period I had a couple issues with Delta but then just a complete string of BS with Southwest.  Lost a day in hawaii due to taking SW from Kauai to Oahu....had to drive from Orlando to NO for final four due to Southwest....had to drive NO to Cincinnati after final four due to Southwest....

Now they have changed their policies, specifically bag policy.  Used to fly them when I went on beer trips with friends so I could being stuff back easy with free 2nd bag.  But I don't even look at SW anymore.  Would take a lot to get me to fly them again.

  • I don’t travel that much. At first, I looked at trains (the Pennsylvanian was an option) train time was like 8 hrs.  I then wondered about if there was a flight and it lined up perfectly.  Never again with frontier though.  We’ll see if they screw us again going home at 4:08pn.

Yeah this wasn’t great. Buddy and I were all ready for that flight. Had driven from Royersford . We’re already in vacation mode with drinks at Chickies and Pete’s when they announced the cancellation. Quickly got back to parking lot, got in car, and drove there. Got into Pittsburgh around 7:45- checked into hotel, uber over to arena and had about 20 minutes to spare. But that initial jolt of hearing it was cancelled was something
