The direction of the eye, so misleading
The defection of the soul, nauseously quick
I don't question, our existence
I just question, our modern needs

She don't wander in... don't wander in here, she...
She don't wander in here...

I will walk... with my hands bound
I will walk... with my face blood
I will walk... with my shadow flag
Into your garden, garden of stone... yeah...

After all is done, and we're still alone
I won't be taken, yet I'll go... with my hands bound
I will walk... with my face blood
I will walk... with my shadow flag
Into your garden, garden of stone

I don't show... I don't share...
I don't need, yeah... What you have to give...

Oooh, I will walk... with my hands bound
I will walk... with my face blood
I will walk... with my shadow flag
Into your garden, garden... oh...

I will walk with my hands bound
I will walk into your garden, garden of stone...

I don't know... I don't care
I don't need, yeah... need to live... yeah, yeah, yeah, oh...
Uh huh huh... (8x)

The more I listened to Ten, the more I really started enjoying the latter part of the album..

All in all, best CD ever..

Mike's guitar on the chorus is my favourite of the entire album.

    "I don't question, our existence
I just question, our modern needs"

These lines are some of the ones that really hooked me on PJ and I love the whole idea of the song.....like a protest against the modern world (i.e. the "garden of stone".)
It sort of inspires me to fight against it with the chorus......

"I will walk... with my hands bound
I will walk... with my face blood
I will walk... with my shadow flag
Into your garden, garden of stone... yeah..."
.....To me it means i'll fight rather than live / be a part of the world as it is (Hence "I will walk... with my face blood").

Shame it doesn't get played more often as the only boot i have of this song is Manchester 4/6/00.
"I am not only a pacifist but a militant pacifist. I am willing to fight for peace. Nothing will end war unless the people themselves refuse to go to war."

"I may be drunk but at least I'm not insane."
    "I don't have a drinking problem 'Cept when I can't get a drink."

I the chorus means to me that he will continue on living and touch the things that man needs now and see the things that man needs now and the flag represents that world and those things...he will except it all and be apart of it all until his death..the garden of stone represents the cemetary and tombstones

yeah it's a great song, i love the chorus "and i will walk..." but it always reminds me to a dido song there is a similar chorus i think
    makes me cry
    BANZÄÄÄ

When he was six, he believed that the moon overhead followed him
By nine, he deciphered the illusion, trading magic for fact, no trade-backs
So this is what it's like to be an adult?
If he only knew now what he knew then
