North Carolina’s State bird is the Cardinal. Raleigh is called the “City of Oaks” so assuming that’s why there is an acorn with the Cardinal. Raleigh drops an acorn every New Year’s Eve. There’s also an acorn statue.

So I just wanted to check if the people that ripped on the other poster artist for reusing older art projects are going to also rip on Pendleton for rehashing the same art theme.
Disclaimer: I think both posters are fine and the artists can do what they want. Just pointing out the inevitable hypocrisy that I see where artists like Pendleton use the same themes over and over with small adjustments but escape the vitriol. To be clear, I don't think there should be any vitriol. A Campbell soup can painting is worth a lot of money for some crazy reason.

I will agree, but the two processes are closer to the rehash end of the spectrum versus the original end.
