I have a query which can be answered by anyone who wants to help: I have
a pair of Thonet and Vandeer speakers connected to my desktop computer,
and Ten Club radio is the only service that works only in one of the
speakers, any other streaming service or programe work just fine with
both speakers, any help?
... I am not in the business of being liked anymore ...

Wish I had an answer or solution for you. We stream in stereo and have not heard of this issue from anyone else in the now almost 15 years we've been on.
Kudos to @NHiding for broadcasting the 2016 Greenville Vs show tonight!
I don't think he decides. Yeah, it's his voice, but a lot of it is automatic. At one point he told me he was "basically retired".
With that said, Earth Day is coming up. Hopefully we get Of The Earth played during one of the three shows.
Was it Jacksonville or Miami 2016 when Eddie talked about how the ice caps were melting and in several decades, the last row of the arena would be under water?

At one point he told me he was "basically retired". HA!! I was either tripping or dreaming cuz that day will probably never come. And yes, I do decide and pick and produce all the concerts you are hearing, either on 10cRadio or on SXM PJ Radio. And nothing is "automatic". I wouldn't have these circles and bags around my eyes if it was.

I love that you always pick exactly the songs I NEED to hear (Insignificance, Grievance, Of the Earth)!

Produce meaning you pick a bootleg off the shelf, or off the computer, and press play.

This is your takeaway?
Maybe Rob was tripping or something...who knows.
Here's my understanding of how the SiriusXM music channels generally work. Note I said generally:
The vast majority of the music channels on SiriusXM are voice-tracked. The morning guy on Octane or the afternoon person on Liquid Metal probably isn't sitting there live like someone during the day on FM. It's easy enough to program six hours of radio show in far less time. If a song is 3:25, you don't have to wait ~3:25 to play the next song or do the next talk-up.
Look at the SiriusXM PJ Wishlist show. Callers would send voice notes in and then they'd be programmed in to the appropriate places.
When I listened to Lithium the morning Chris Cornell's death was announced, I didn't hear a single mention of it. Out of all the channels which should have had a mention of the news, Lithium should have been high on the list.
You can also find the time each person is on each channel. Some of them do six or so hours per channel on the same day. Those would be some long-ass work weeks.
Rob definitely does the awesome intros where he says stuff like "A kick-ass version of Black where Mike McCready melts faces" and "punctuated by a totally awesome version of Given To Fly in the second encore." I have no doubt there. How he picks what songs to mention during the intros is the work of a genius with a hell of an ear. There's times I tune in late. Since the app isn't perfect, there's times I can't back up and hear the intros.
Every new show means a new intro and a new outro.
It also takes someone to fire up the phone lines on occasion and do the "we're gonna play this show for you later today as soon as Rob gets his shit together" stuff.
But I would be interested to know how it happens the rest of the time. If a live show ends at 4:30pm ET and the next one is at midnight...is there an auto-DJ or is someone actually sitting there?
And yeah...it does take someone to cut the tracks down. If there's a live version of something where the song is 4:32, but the track on the CD is 6:31 because Eddie talks and then the band starts the next song and then stops before the re-start...well, they're not gonna play the full 6:31 during a time that isn't a concert re-air.
I do like how he decides what shows play when. It means we get Speed Wash on New Year's Eve and we get 25 Minutes To Go on a certain day in late October. Those songs wouldn't be the same in April or June.
Presidential Advice from President-Elect Mike McCready: "Are you getting something out of this all encompassing trip?"
The radio stations are two of the best on the planet...or off of it, given the satellites.
Does Rob make a lot of executive decisions what we hear? Absolutely. I sent a note once asking what happened to the side projects on SiriusXM and he agreed they seemed to disappear and he'd try to get them back.
Does he sit there all day every day like a traditional DJ deciding that it's 6:42pm and "Here's a version of Alive from 1994 followed by a Beatles song and then the studio version of Come Back" I'd be super impressed if so.

But what I wanna know ...when the remastered versions of the albums came out, the screen said "SongName (Remastered)" and the original versions stopped being played.
Seeing as I rarely see "Remastered" I guess the original versions came back?

Is there any hope for the return of the Wishlist series where fans request their five songs? I'm sure the 2024 tour has a few stories from fans.
Thanks!
