Heartbroken: have tickets to the show tonight, I'm 2 blocks away & I think I have to go the hospital

Had bronchitis, kept getting worse, could barely breathe walking from the bed to the bathroom. In the hotel now arranging for medical care. Have a good show everyone I will be there in spirit.

    Sorry to hear about it. I had to miss Steve Martin & Martin Short last year due to Covid... It sucks. Nothing more important than your health. Feel better.

    Thanks everyone. I’m admitted to the hospital. Not allowed to fly home 2600 miles. Stuck in a hospital in a strange city for who knows how long. They say it could be days or weeks. 

    will probably also have to miss Pittsburgh. Ugh. This blows.

    Nope. Flew out for the shows in FL and GA. My buddy has been with me but he needs to go home tomorrow. 

    They won’t let me fly any time soon because I have pulmonary embolisms apparently, blood clots on the lungs so also trying to figure a way home if I still can’t fly when I am released.  Which they say I could be here for days or even weeks. 

    At least I have my music.

    Understandable....PEs usually come from DVTs that alot of us have and don't know cause they aren't symptomatic... until they move up to lungs.
