I was at the big card show here in the Twin Cities a few weeks back. Several of the dealers I chatted with said the same. No one was buying. The dealers who seemed to be moving anything were the Pokémon folks.

So pokemon right now is on FIRE. It has the most rapid growth in the industry. The flipper money maker people might be going over to that now.

I switched things up this show and sold a bunch of loose raw cards and cheap stuff. A bunch of 5-30 cards. These usually move very easily. I stayed away from the graded cards. I usually have the What Not guys clean up my low end graded stuff but didn't bother putting them out.

There may be a shift coming. I'll post some cool things I got graded and or picked up lately.

The clean pants and white long sleeved SP is in series 2 only. This one is from the update. Almost similar pose which I thought was dumb. But yes this is the Vintage stock /99.

I wanted to clarify this more. The image above is the update, its the same pic for all of the variants. The Update SP is the mullet. The SSP is him holding a bat.

This is the SP from Series 2. Its the ONLY version from series 2.

Topps likes to throw in an easter egg sometimes. Like the NNO Vlad rc or the late edition Ohtani. Series 2 can be fun like that when they have an SP rc hunt.

Funny story about the Witt. Buddy of mine and i went to the National in Atlantic City. I was searching for 3 cards and didnt find any of them there. The prices were inflated so we decided to rip some new product. We went to Dave and Adams and they gave us cash deals on boxes so we bought 6. He 2 and me 4. We got 5 SP's from those boxes. Witt, Mountcastle, Jackie Robinson, Abrahms and Jrod. I was pissed because I wanted the Jrod. It was a $1300 card in a PSA 10. My buddy and I graded them and we got all 10's back. I implored him to sell that Jrod. He held tight. He sold it last year for a buck20... I kept the Witt. Glad I did.

Have pulled several other good autos. Do it with my sons, who is a sr. In HS. Kid has loved it since he was a little kid. Glad he still does.

They definitely do. We have scored several others like George Springer, Dale Murphy ect. It’s a crapshoot. Just opened the Bowman box today. Some decent rookie cards and Bowman 1sts
