Yeah that part of town with the Beer Garden is called Glenwood South -- was kinda fun back in the younger days but can be an absolute shit show. Tons of bars on both sides of that stretch of Glenwood, all of which have knuckleheads that wanna fight.

If you're going all the way to Glenwood after the show you may as well go a little further and go downtown:
    • Slm's - old school rock and roll dive bar
    • Our House - not as many taps as the Beer Garden, maybe 40 handles? will probably have live music.
    • Foundation - great cocktails...downstairs basement feel.
    • Ruby Deluxe - great little dive bar
    • Raleigh Times - great outdoor and rooftop seating with lots of space inside too.
    • Landmark - great little bar with lots of outside seating
Or you can go to Hillsborough Street -- Mitch's or Players Retreat.

    I second Slim's.

22 years since they've been here, right? I was at the Charlotte show in 2013, but I think that's the closest they've been.
Yep 2003 at Walut Creek. 2016 was cancelled in protest of HB2.

I don't know that it is bad, just something to keep an eye on for now. Hopefully them likely having a home game that week won't get any concert dates flexed.

Does anyone know if they can play in between shows? I don't know the logistics of setting up the stage, dismantling it and restaging it will be. Game ends around 10-11 pm so they would have to set it up for a song check in about 15 hours.

There’s a risk it could move one of the shows by a night, but with the day between shows, the NHL may possible schedule the game on that day.  It really comes down to the TV networks’ schedule which depends what all the second round matchups are.

PJ and fans are mere peasants in this.

Do we think they would move the shows forward a day or back a day?

ive posted this a few times before in this thread but in a previous year PJ had a notation when tickets went on sale that a show could be moved because of the NHL playoffs (vancouver i believe), they did not say that this time so I am confident they won't move the shows.  playing not consecutive nights gives the arena dates before and after the shows.

I honestly don’t remember that. Where did they say that?

They don’t need to say anything other than date is subject to change though and they are covered.

I think with the day off in between giving them flexibility we should be good to go but the second round the games are cut in half from the first round and TV deals likely are less flexible.

It's more work for the crews, but not that much more. One of the benefits of playing two consecutive nights is a lot of stuff only gets set up once. However, with the day in between, the PJ crew will likely do an 85% to 90% breakdown anyways -- they won't rick leaving equipment out all day long.

Not sure what year it was but it was in the initial Tour Announcement and 10C Ticket Directions.  And they did in fact have to move a date.  99% sure it was Vancouver as the location.   Not saying its 100% they won't change a date but i'm confident. Canes win tonight and Caps win tomorrow night should know by like Friday because I assume that series would start on the weekend.

Does anyone need a single in 116 for night 2? I’m going to put it up later today and if anyone is interested here, I’ll either post or send the link.
