I would have assumed RVM for this set up, but nope.

This was my best PJ pit experience so far (with United Center 2023 N1 a close second)... everyone in our little area in the middle center seemed to be true fans and there were no shenanigans, plus the sound seemed perfect to me. I usually don't fixate on proximity to the band when considering how special a show was, but this time I definitely felt a deeper connection by being closer. Even though I only got 1 new song in the setlist ("Something Special"), I felt my love for every song I've seen many times over being actively rekindled, thanks to this band's charisma and total mastery of their craft. I agree with others that the setlist on paper wouldn't have stood out to me, but there are so many factors that go into making a memorable and unique show (including one's own mindset at that particular moment in their life) and this one has officially cracked my Top 5.

It was my 14th PJ show and the new one for me was Of the Girl (only new PJ original for me over the weekend). Vancouver last year, Home Show #2 in 2018 & Wrigley 2016 has meant I have gotten to see quite a few rarities already. As for covers So You Wanna Be a Rock 'n' Roll Star from N1 was also new for me.

Of the Girl was especially cool for me. At the time that PJ 20 was released, I hit a really cool record store in Claremont, CA (Rhino Records) and picked up my first PJ Official bootleg, which was from 2000, Assago, Italy. Of the Girl is the opener, between that recording, the documentary and finding the Pearl Jam SiriusXM Channel literally within a week of each other it really ignited my fandom.

I would term it an above average setlist.

Super PJ show!  Release moved me to tears.  The stupid MAGA's in front of me pissed me off booing Dead Pioneers.  WTF are MAGA's doing at PJ anyway????

While I wasn't a big fan of their 'music' and definitely thought their scalp whitey act was decades past it's prime level of effectiveness, I myself did not/would not boo them.  That being said, I assume your so called 'MAGA's' who booed were there to hopefully listen to good music, not a bunch of political speeches or political rants disguised as music.  Of course, that is a band's right to do, but my opinion is that it should be done more through music and singing, and not speeches between songs or spoken word songs.  By the way, I'd venture a guess that despite PJ's politics, at least 50% of the fans were Republicans or Independents who lean right (otherwise known as MAGA's to you).

Another great show. I was on the rail in front of Stone. At one point Ed came down to the floor in front of me and pressed a guitar pick into my hand and three other people”s next to me. Enjoy my photos. I have so many it’s hard to know which ones to post.
