Set List

Opening Band onstage at 7:30
Dead Pioneers (Jeff Ament plays a song with them)

Walk On Music: Dark Entry
Band Onstage 08:47
Band Offstage 11:17

Set List
01. Release
02. Of The Girl
03. Given To Fly
04. Do The Evolution
(An amusing anecdote is related wherein Ed lists venues they played in Florida on their first time through and a certain club where he dropped from a ceiling beam while being pursued by a zealous security guard.  Ed was caught by the crowd who held him aloft as Ed gave the security guard an obscene gesture with both hands)
05. Dark Matter
06. Wreckage
07. Daughter {It’s OK-(Cole}
(While the band is still playing the outro of Daughter starts playing guitar riff for Not For You the rest of the band quickly follows.)
08.  Not For You-(sort of Modern Girl end. no lyrics)
(Ed mentions a review that said Mike McCready was an arsonist at the previous show.  Ed said Ron DeSantis tried to have Mike arrested and sent to El Salvador but they were able to get out of that situation because Mike is white and has money.  Remember to look out for others and not just yourself.)
09. Even Flow
10. Scared Of Fear
11. Immortality
12. Jeremy
13. Faithfull
14. Black
(Ed’s wife and daughters are at tonights show.  He talks about never imagining in the beginning he would be writing songs about having children.  Mentions Mike’s oldest getting accepted at a  top school.  The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree?  This apple fell and rolled down a hill!. All in good fun.)
15. Something Special
16. Better Man/Save It For Later-(Charley, Cox, Morton, Steele, Wakeling)
17. Porch

Ed opts not to leave the stage for encore break.  He talks and sets up to play the next song
mentions someone who requested a song they aren’t ready to play so they will invite them to another show.  A young woman’s birthday etc. an amusing anecdote about grabbing the wrong shopping cart)

18. Just Breathe
19. Upper Hand
(Ed thanks Chris and Seminole Tribe of Florida.  Chris found the bass that Jeff had played on Vs but wasn’t able to purchase.  Jeff had been missing and thinking of the bass and Chris and the people at the Hard Rock had the bass in storage and gave it to Jeff before the first show.  Jeff plays it on the next song)
20. Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town
21. Sonic Reducer-(Bators, Blitz, Chrome, Magnum, Thomas, Zero)
22. Alive
23. Rocking In The Free World-(Young)
24. Yellow Ledbetter

The start was fire. The pit was really fun. I felt the small venue vibes more in GA tonight than the 100s on Thursday. The band is on fire and Eddie sounds really really good.

Release and GTF were loud as shit. Little disappointed with DTE, DM, and Wreckage as repeats back to back to back. Eddie teased It’s Ok hard, sang a little melody and hit his guitar for a chord and then went right into Not For You.

Immortality was a great surprise. That Jeremy was a 10/10 and got the whole place going. Faithful was an awesome audible but Eddie spent half the song pouring wine so took away from it a bit. Black is the greatest song ever written. More hits, and then…

Encore was rough. Besides Upper Hand, I don’t think I could pick a worse encore. Also, all premium seats in the 200s and 300s sitting the whole show.

My girlfriend didn’t understand why I didn’t enjoy Thursday, but after tonight she “got it” being in GA. She called Release as the opener, and what a version it was.

Edit: Eddie mentioned this is the only time Something Special gets played this tour because it’s the only show his family is attending. He also said they’re flying a fan to another show so they can play HTI. New guitar for Small Town

I’m a sucker for a “greatest hits” show and really enjoyed this one. Up top today but there wasn’t a bad seat in the house and I’m happy to just be in the building for both nights.

Release after an Oceans open on Thur? Sign me up! GTF wasn’t even on my radar when chatting with people before on what we were looking for but love that song live. Man, getting a little It’s Ok tag snippet was such a tease. I would have loved if they actually played HTI so congrats whoever gets that later in the tour.

Black is just so fucking good I’ll take it every time. I’m torn on the I Got Shit scratch for Faithful but pretty sure I take that trade off 7/10 times. Maybe sacrifice something else? That missing bass story was cool and Jeff getting to play it was dope.

It’s been some years since I’ve caught Immortality and it fucking rocked, Sonic Reducer too and YL never disappoints to close so overall solid show. I will say it again that Setting Sun was a great closing song on Thursday and I can’t wait to hear it again.

Ed’s Voice is as great as I can remember. Whole band seems to be still having so much fun. Sure, less repeats would have been nice for the faithful, but  I don’t care what they play anymore. GA Thursday. Lower 113 tonight, Both equally amazing.Tonight my my wife which is always, extra special.
May need to go to Pitt..We are all so lucky. They are my drug. Much love.

I’d say the same thing from home. But the weather down here has been perfection, the venue was special and the band sounded incredible.

If you’ve been to enough shows, you can say this about any setlist you see on paper. Doesn’t always translate.

Great mix of hits and a couple deeper cuts. Perfect for my son’s first show. He’s not a huge fan and he knew at least half of the songs. He was very impressed and when we were leaving he said he understands why I go and see them all the time.

Any catch what was on the t-shirt thrown up on stage? Jeff got quite a chuckle out of it and even got Stone’s attention to have him look at it. They both weee laughing about it.

Great show, great time. Hope to do it again soon.
