Berate is a verb that's pretty self-explanatory. Again, not an attack, it's an opinion about how something is being addressed based on what I'm reading in responses.
Remember my experience on here is much different because there is a need to point out uncomfortable truths. My original comment, copied below, is much softer than the replies I’ve been getting on the topic. Almost no one has engaged about Shapiro, which was my challenge to begin with. My original complaint was against some bias and I think the answers bear that out. It’s just an opinion. But man it was far loaded than I could have imagined.
i see liberals as choosing sides based on bias. If a Hamas or dei supporter were involved in that attack, the comments on this page would be massively different. Bill Maher is 100% accurate in his criticisms of the far left and this forum bears that out. Pointing liberalism in the right direction is worth fighting for. I should be able to do that without anything personal being mentioned (that’s a general comment). One commenter has engaged me in three different discussions on the Shapiro attack , but not once to chat about the topic. And I am the one to get mocked a month ago for trying to get this a friendlier place. It’s only friendly if you want to engage on their terms.
