    Oh baby. Look at that.

Agreed with others in that I am not quite into the craft scene as before and tend to stick to my few favorites mostly. I'd def make an exception for any Tree House I stumble upon though...which sadly is hardly ever.

Honestly, I think my current fav is Ommegang Hennepin. I was a little pissed to see my sister in law take that out of the beer fridge on xmas eve. Thought I sufficiently hid it towards the back lol

Ommegang Is great, too. It’s like 90 mins away from me. Plus they have bands there and you can camp out. I saw Cake there once. Awesome place.

I was there over the summer when we were in Cooperstown. Cool spot. The food was really bad though. Beer was awesome.

Clearing out my storage unit and I have cellared away about 10 cases of mixed barrel aged beer.  I have BCBS rare bottles form 2015 among other things.  The plan was to have a party and drink the stuff.

I wonder if its worth anything or I should just have a party.

They are, like a lot of things, worth something to somebody. However the days of valuable worthwile limited releases being a big thing are over.

For example I've twice in the last month left Heady Topper on the shelf to buy other hard to get beers like Russian River.
In the past I would never have done that.

I talk w my beer buddies about this.  I stopped chasing beers years ago and apparently the public has too.

There has to be some beer afficianados that are looking for nice cellared beers?

Looks delightful! I've never had Tree House but the pours I've seen here look great.

I'm assuming it's from scaling up, but Heady is just not the same beer it was a decade or more ago. The best ones I've had in recent years have been "good" and some have been bad

I used to be so dialed into this too. I think a big reason is that many big BA beers that are easily acquired today are every bit as good as stuff that was limited and sought after back then. I can just walk into Tree House or Trillium - there's no reason to pay a premium for a cellared Rare, Dark Lord variant, etc.

As an old head beer geek, I've been completely over the moon that I'm able to grab a Bruery membership and have them ship to MA. My Tree House trips have plummeted.
