The album’s a definite grower.    Wasn’t sold on it at first but, sure enough, the songs have burrowed their way into my psyche.   End of the Empire really cuts off the momentum of the first couple of tracks though.   Total dirge.

This is true, track flow is a mess.

    try

    The Lightning I
    The Lightning II
    WE
    Unconditional I
    Age of Anxiety I
    Age of Anxiety II
    Unconditional II
    Prelude
    End of the Empire I-IV

    flows real good.

I absolutely love the new album. To be honest, I have a baby at home so the mellow sound is actually preferred at this moment in my life.

I’ll be seeing them in Brooklyn, but no way I was paying these high prices so far in advance. I guarantee I’ll find cheaper tickets closer to the show.

Prices for their tour are pretty crazy.  Can't sit anywhere in the 100 level at the United Center for less than $150 plus fees.  And even the shitty seats way up are $80 plus fees.  Might have to sit this one out.
Their tour? No. Every arena show is ridiculous. I’ve sat out more concerts than ever just to take a stand. HOWEVER, I’ve never seen AF so this is one I will be attending.

I got decent seats to their 11/8 show in Boston via Verizon presale, $164.50 for two seats. Just bought "platinum" seats for the following night for about twice that amount.

I've only seen AF once, on the Everything Now tour, but the show was so much fun that I'm eager to see them again.

Arcade Fire performed Unconditional I at the Juno awards, accompanied by students from Sistema Toronto. As a big fan of El Sistema programs, I think this is awesome.

Loving the new album. Have been listening and liking it more and more. The lightning I II are some for their best stuff ever. Outside of End of empire 4 (which is solid), the rest is terrific.

Yeah it's definitely growing on me.  Side 2 of the vinyl is just about perfect.

Saw Arcade Fire for the first time last night in Malahide, Dublin. Generally I'm not into full albums being played but Funeral, what an album. Hearing it from start to finish was great. Really good show. Band are brilliant live, full of energy which got the crowd going. Great to watch. Would love to see it again.

I thought about getting tix, but I am already seeing 3 shows that week lol.  Was lucky to see AF at a tiny venue in 2017 (Record release show for 'Everything Now' at the Grand Prospect Hall- those in NYC will remember their epic commercials lol)

Really like the 2 new songs out so far.  Pink Elephant is really good.  Was looking to pre-oder the vinyl and it's $40 for the color version through their website and $38 for the standard through Amazon.  For 1 LP!!  Vinyl prices are out of control
