Thank you, hoping the let us add two days onto the trip so I can check out Quebec City too. Free flights, hotel, dinners and vinyl of the new album. A pretty awesome prize

Back from the Montreal trip and have listened to the album thoroughly. IT has 12 songs I believe, I'd say there are 5-6 really good ones and the rest are mediocre at best. The last song, We don't deserve love, is slowly becoming my favourite. They basically play the best songs from this album in concert on this tour so no real let down with a few bad songs in the setlist.
Their set up is pretty cool too with what is literally a boxing ring in the middle of the floor. Probably better views for the upper bowl then normal. If you have floor seats it really doesn't matter if you are "on the rail" as they play to four sides. Well worth spending some $ to see this tour

  • I'll be seeing them Tuesday!
  • OK!  So them last night and they killed!

My favorite part of the night was their exit.

The opening band Preservation Hall Jazz band came on stage to do the finale Wake Up with the band.  After the song was over the band kept playing and they walked right into the crowd while playing.

Will Butler sang Stand By Me at the end of the jam.

This is one of the reasons I love seeing live music, for moments like this.

If I can learn how to post videos here I'll share it.

Setlists look pretty good.  Not loving the new album, but they still play so many damn good songs.  May have to check them out when they come here next month.

The new album hasn't grown on me as i hoped it would (though it has a few highlights - love Creature Comfort, EN and We Don't Deserve Love).  Still, they are so good in concert.  I went to MSG the other night and it was great. Very solid setlist and, of course, everything sounds better live!  I wish they would play more from Neon Bible (earlier in the tour, they played Black Mirror and Windowsill).  Anyway, Ive seen every tour since Black Mirror and they never disappoint in concert - go see them!

@Screaming Tree did they exit through the crowd at the end of the show?

I'm wondering if they do that every show or what they did at MSG was special?

Nice spot on the rail BTW.  You aren't on Feed My Ears on FB are you?

They did enter and leave through the crowd. Being on the rail, we were asked when they entered and left and push back a few feet to give them room to move. Great show, the new songs blended well with the older ones. High energy set.

I did have great spot on the rail, but am not on the Facebook page.

AWESOME!!!!  I asked about the FB page because I have told a few people to stand exactly where you were standing when they go to the show.

Next time I'm getting GA for these guys.

    Thanks for sharing!

They did the same thing when I saw them at Barclays for a 3 night run but only walked in and out the last night.  That is still one of my top 5 concert moments.

Saw them last night in D.C. Scored a last minute lower level ticket 15 rows up from center stage for $25. Really enjoyed the show and especially from that vantage point. Haven't listened to the new album more than a couple times but the new material fit well within the set. Really enjoyable, especially for the price. May have to ditch my GA for next month's show in LA since I think being elevated is the way to go for this tour's production.

Preservation Hall Jazz band is really good.  We got to hear them and Grandmaster Flash.  Yes, the Grandmaster Flash.  Father of rap/hip hop.

In my vid the Hall comes on to join in the encore and play on the way out.  Definitely check them out.
