I have watched a few games and nothing stood out to me.  Is this the first time four #1 seeds re in the FF?

The one and dones make watching hard because I can't see a player be groomed further into a great player.  The money is too good to pass up.

Regarding the Flagg kid on Duke.  I don't see how he becomes a superstar.  He should be able to help a team win for sure but he wont be the main focal point after a year or two in the league if he averages 18, 3 and 7.

I do know Barkley is happy for his alma mater.

3 pointers are a big deal in these games too. not always exciting for me...

    Highlights for anyone so far?
Few posts up from Xavier McDaniel. I knew It happened before but wasn't exactly sure when the last time was (Knew it wasn't recent, would have guessed like 15 years or so ago).

Well, I am hoping for victories from Tennessee and Michigan St. today.
If that happens I will have picked all final 4.

    Still in 1st place.
impressive. there have been some good games in this tourney but IMO it’s been pretty meh due to the lack of cinderella storylines.

welcome to college athletics in the NIL/transfer portal era.
This tournament had made you "angry". Hahaha

Since day 1 you have been angry! Haha

    The tournament
    The teams
    The coaches

All the above have pissed you off!
why did we even bother with the first 56 games?
I was in 1st place since day 1.
    I just plummeted to 8th.
First time since 2008 all the number one seeds got through. In 2008 it was Kansas, Memphis, North Carolina and UCLA.
I see this now.  That should have been a Kansas win?

Pretty wild that all 4 are in.

you could be right, but remember, he was impressing NBA Olympians before he even got to Duke.

He’s only 18 and should still be in high school since he reclassified.  He’s the best all around Freshman in college hoops in a long time.  He does everything well.  He might not be the highest scorer in the NBA but he is going to the best player on a great team by the time he is 23 or 24 years old.

This is kind of my point. He is good at everything.  He won't be great at any one thing which is why he won't be a superstar and its not a knock to him as much as fans won't see it for what it is.  Antwan Jamison type or Tim Duncan perhaps?

If he does get even better and excels in other areas he will be a superstar and go the Duncan route not that Jamison was any slouch, he just played for some pretty piss poor teams.

I look forward to seeing what he can become. I also agree he is the best Freshman in a while.  Zion was the last great Freshman IMO.

Flagg doing everything in this first half.

And the first game of the night was awesome; great comeback by Florida in the second half. Clayton Jr. is amazing!!

I've watched the last 2-3 minutes of that game on YouTube a few times this morning.
What a disaster for Duke. Like you said, just an insane collapse. But all the credit in the World to Houston. They hit big buckets, and got HUGE OFFENSIVE REBOUNDS.

I had Texas Tech beating Florida and Duke winning it all.  So two all time chokes were teams I picked.  I’m a jinx.

the underrated play in the game was when Duke was up 14 and Gillis had the inadvertent elbow to Houston giving Houston’s six point play and gave them life.  I hate  that call.  I get you don’t want guys to hit guys in the head but with no intent should they really get two shots and the ball?  I don’t like that.  Florida also were penalized in the first game on the same type of play.

I went to bed when Duke was up. Woke up to my wife screaming and sending me pictures of the tv when Houston won

on the replay it didn't look flagrant at all to me. totally agree.

they want to protect the head and neck, but head and neck and flagrant (by definition ) are two different things. Sometimes they’re both; sometimes they’re one or the other. maybe they should just give two shots for any head and neck but assess the “flagrantness” separately.

    #12 for Geno’s huskies!

Why does CBS let the NBA clowns who know nothing about college basketball do the final four pre and post games?  These guys are terrible on the college game.

Florida 3 double digits comebacks in last 3 games.  Heck of an effort.

I just heard, and I was wondering myself, that ther were only 4 fouls called the entire first half and 23 fouls called in the 2nd half.

I don't think the players played any differently, but the refs called the game differently. But the Refs didn't decide the game for either team. I just find it strange at how the game was called from the First Half to the 2nd Half.

pre and post game.  Johnson, Barkley, Kenny Smith.  They are awful on college basketball. I feel bad that Jay Wright has to sit next to 3 guys that know nothing about college basketball.  CBS has their own guys on all year then have to defer to those morons come Tourney time.

I guess we saw last night why Florida buried the sexual harassment allegations against Golden.  it just means more in the SEC :)

3 good games in the Final 4.  All 4 teams could have won it.  Florida just made the plays late.
