It's highly unlikely Judge will use them. He said so himself.

    BHAHAHAHA

“I think it’s terrible,’’ Milwaukee Brewers reliever Trevor Megill told Dan Martin of the New York Post. “We’ll see what the data says. I’ve never seen anything like it before. I feel like it’s something used in slow-pitch softball. It’s genius: Put the mass all in one spot. It might be bush [league]. It might not be. But it’s the Yankees, so they’ll let it slide.”

“It took a minute for the shock to go away, since from the bullpen, they looked like bowling pins,’’ Megill added. “We weren’t able to process it. But that’s the game. It’s a big data race, with science and technology playing a huge role in baseball now. You can’t hate them for trying something new.”

I don't know the stats for the whole series, but of those 9 home runs in game 1, only 2 were from the new bats. I think the bats are getting too much attention at this point.

Walter Johnson, Lefty Grove, Bob Feller

Would they also be throwing batting practice to Judge?

Babe Ruth with the 4th lowest E.R.A. for a lefty, all time,  would be throwing batting practice?

like donald trump, no matter how dumb something is I say, I’m not taking it back.

in my defense, you gotta go about 50 deep until you find a modern pitcher on the low ERA list so I don’t think 1910’s ERA’s are that relevant.

It's just impossible to compare players from eras that are 100 years apart. If we could drop Ty Cobb into 2025, what would his batting average be? Would he hit over the Mendoza line? Seriously, with that stance of his, and his hands 4 inches apart when he gripped the bat, wtf would he do in today's game?

But he is still one of the greatest hitters to ever play the game. Period
He can't help the era he played in.
