former Ohio U. Bobcat slays BYPoo. sucks that he left my school but sweet to put a beatdown on the mormons.
Hard to score 88 and still lose by 25.  I don’t know maybe not let a team take 51 threes especially when they are banging them.
They didn’t think Moroni would let it happen.

no fan of Florida but glad they dispatched the team that needed four steps to the winning basket against Colorado St.

Arkansas? I think they're the lowest seed left now after beating Kansas and St. John's.
well, yeah, but an SEC team with Calipari is hardly a Cinderella or feel good story (even tho I, for one, do like Cal

NEVER liked Calipari going back to his UMASS days.
at least calipari has always been honest in regard to what he’s about. I doubt you’ll ever hear him spout that “student athlete” BS.

Laughable again. (as far as the players having a shot for the NBA) Agree on the No Student Athlete nonsense.

The players he got over the years were NBA players/prospects BEFORE they played for him. A very high percentage of them wouldn't have gone to College if it weren't for the one-and-done rule. Most would've went/entered the NBA Draft right out of HS.

Name me a player he developed that wasn't already an NBA prospect right out of HS?

He's always been a cheat and that's, at least, going back to his UMASS days. (that's why I laughed at Cal and Honest)

I also laughed at Cal when Arkansas blew that big lead late and lost the game. Though felt bad for a couple of his players because I saw them play in HS.

I’m not saying Cal necessarily “developed” them. I’m just saying both coach and player knew what they were doing with each other. education didn’t/doesn’t enter the equation.

just yesterday I read something about a former FB coach at Tennessee suing the school for wrongful termination. the school came back with some bullshit about integrity and student athletes. Please.

impressive. there have been some good games in this tourney but IMO it’s been pretty meh due to the lack of cinderella storylines.

welcome to college athletics in the NIL/transfer portal era.

Back in the early 2000’s, before kids, wife and I watched March Madness religiously. Each did our own brackets. Winner got treated to dinner.

One year I guessed the entire tournament correct except one game (and that team didn’t advance beyond the next round anyway). Total luck. I was like Diane Chambers and her football pool. It was quite something. I didn’t know shit about the players. We only watched the tournament, no regular season games.

Texas sure fucking blew it yesterday.

Still working on my bracket. I think I might have duke and Michigan St. in the finals.

i might do multiples on the espn brackets
Duke/Michigan St is who I have.
I will do my usual 6 or 7 brackets.
    It's always fun.

Still a good chance of this.

Surprised just about every region was the 1 and 2 seeds in their brackets in their "finals" except one 1 and 3 seed.

Yeah, if Michigan St. can win today and Duke win it all, I am pretty sure I win all the money.

The only research I did for this tournament? Almost any article I read told me to stick with the #1 teams. Stick with the favorite. Every article said this will NOT be the year of the "cinderella".

Can’t wait for next Saturday night. Should be two great games.

I have watched a few games and nothing stood out to me.  Is this the first time four #1 seeds re in the FF?

The one and dones make watching hard because I can't see a player be groomed further into a great player.  The money is too good to pass up.

Regarding the Flagg kid on Duke.  I don't see how he becomes a superstar.  He should be able to help a team win for sure but he wont be the main focal point after a year or two in the league if he averages 18, 3 and 7.

I do know Barkley is happy for his alma mater.

3 pointers are a big deal in these games too. not always exciting for me...

    Highlights for anyone so far?
