St. Johns is not impressing me.
8-for-25 on layups. In one of those quirky or fluky things, three times St John's has been a top three seed in the West Region and wound up losing in the second round. It happened in 1986 against Auburn and 2000 against Gonzaga.

5 minutes into the game, they were in big trouble. At no point did they look like an elite team. Oh well.

it happens, i was a junior there last time they were this good in the regular season. You never know because so many quirky things happen but I'm optmistic about next year. Of course I was in 2000 because when you're 21, you just think you get more good players and roll out the basketballs and everyone figures it out and it didn't work out that way.

2 games into this tournament and Duke certainly looks like the #1 team in the nation.
    Just my humble opinion.

I am in 1st place in my 12 man bracket. Each man put in $50 and it's winner take all. I have Duke going all the way. I went 28-4 in the 1st round. Not bad for a guy who didn't watch 1 game all year.

no more perfect brackets in ESPN or yahoo.

I've been filling out brackets since 1990. Best I ever did was like 20 years ago, I got 28/32 in the first round and got all final 4 teams and the championship right.

    Go Ole Miss!!!!!
    Go Oregon!!!

I could make some separation in my brackets if these 2 teams can win.

It’s gonna suck when the biggest Cinderella in the Sweet 16 is John Calipari.

The little guy making an impressive showing...

Sweet 16 has 7 SEC teams, 4 Big 10 (or is that Big 18?) teams, 4 Big 12 (or is that Big 16?) teams and 1 ACC team.
Yay for super conferences. Ruined college football now ruining hoops.
    This weekend we rock Portland

the feel good part of the tourney is we don't have to watch or listen to Danny Hurley whine and cry like the little baby he is.  Hard to think of anyone who is more of a sore loser than he is.  so unlikeable.
