I am not a bot or a scalper, and the system was very helpful to me in 2024. I never would have gotten the tickets I got, which were all either GA or extremely good seats close to the stage, under another system-- and certainly not for the reasonable face-value price I paid. The F2F is broken. It isn’t what it used to be. 2024 it was great for me still. As someone who has watched F2F religiously since it’s been launched, like many others on here have, the bots have definitely found a way to beat all of our chances. Each tour they’ve become more present, but now it’s blatant. It sucks! It is not the “worst” thing we could have by a long shot, thank you 10c for all the tickets I got for 2025. F2F this far out from the show is basically unusable.0 -

The fake PJ "Premium" seats that are being listed for a grand each to sit in the concourse is beyond the level of spitting in the fans face. They put the worst seats in the house at the highest price, again, in the hopes some fool accidently clicks on them and hits "buy:. Then that person is stuck with them for life.
Simple supply and demand would be lightyears better than this shit show. 200 level seats would sell for slightly less than face in some cases, great seats would go for a lot more, until/unless they don't have a buyer, and then they would have to lower the price. What is happening now is a flat out scam. The b.s. holier than thou crap where "you aren't allowed to sell your ticket for more than you paid for or else" tactic is lame and stupid. There are hundreds of seats available on stubhub for the Pitt shows and some are not listed at an unreasonable price. The market sets the price. Inflating garbage seats to 5x their actual value to try and trick people into thinking there is more demand and more value in the tickets is just another form of price gouging and corruption. This is indeed the laziest, dumbest process a human could ever think of.0 -

What's this about? Because I went to try and get Jack White tickets, and I was locked out of my TM account. I contacted them, and eventually they told me I had been breaking their rules and I got my account blocked, but I hadn't done anything wrong at all - I just know that the last time I had any activity on TM was when I was doing my thing getting PJ tickets. I have no clue what happened, but my account wasn't hacked. All I really know for sure is that I got fucked out of Jack White tickets because of it. The only thing I can think of is that the fact that I sold my PJ 10C tix through the fan to fan sale and bought other 10C tix, and then sold those to upgrade again, all to get better seats at the end of the day, somehow made TM decide I had been breaking policy, I dunno. My account was permanently closed!!

The current system sucks ass. If you get 10c tickets and have to sell them, they should go back into the 10c pot and be awarded to someone in the 10c that originally got shut out. The current system does not ensure that 10c seats are filled with 10c members and that should be the case. Instead, a large amount of 10c seats end up being sold by bots on the scalper sites for 5-10x face value. It's not that complicated yet each time they change something, they make it worse for the actual fans.0

The simple solution is to go back to the rule of 10C tickets not being transferable. Do not buy if there is a chance you cannot go. That would have more tickets in the hands of 10C fans that live nearby or can commit to attending. I would guess that many members win the lottery and then find out that flights and hotels are way more expensive than they expected or they have family or work issues. Once you put them in the TM system, it is not going to reward 10C members.0 -

I mean, for all of those people who pay the yearly membership fees. Do they get that money back when they get shut out? NO. It becomes simply a donation to the band. Its not like if you win the lottery, you get FREE tickets. All you get is the ability to purchase tickets, which is convenient, but you're still spending nearly $400 for a pair of tickets, which in many cases aren't even that great of seats.0 -
I’ll just add this as well
my uncle showed me this band when I was a teenager. He has been a huge fan of this band since he was also a teenager. He’s never really had disposable income until the late 2010s. I explained how priority worked and he’s pretty much guaranteed at least one show a tour as long as it wasn’t MSG or something like that.As soon as he signed up for 10c they switched to the system they use now, and he has not scored a single ticket for any tour. NOT 1.He’s put in for multiple shows, only a single show, I help him do it so he doesn’t accidentally just sign up for verified fan.So he’s spend 4+ years of membership and hasn’t gotten a single benefit from it except a free shirt back when that was included.Last year he was so upset he didn’t even listen to Dark Matter when it came out and I was legit sad for him. This year again he didn’t score in the lottery and he’s pretty much done with the band. And this is the dude who used to play Vitalogy, Yield, and even Backspacer on repeat and it’s the lone reason why I’m so obsessed with them.I don’t expect anyone to care, I’m just saying. It’s a huge bummer to see.0 -

TM has been chasing the bots for years. With zero success. Hackers vs. enterprise technology. The best days are behind us. But I think if it was clear that all 10C tix are not transferable there would be less interaction with TM, the source of all our frustrations.0 -

Nope. 10C tix come with conditions. They always have. Do not buy 10C tix if you cannot go. F2F is just another TM method to get more money. Be lucky you can actually get your money back. Back in the day, if "life happens" you ate your tix.0 -

The Ticketmaster experience has only gotten worse. F2F was supposed to be a way to ensure 10C members filled the 10C seats/pit. If you're lucky enough to "win" tickets to several shows, only to realize you can't go to all of them and need to sell, there's no way to get them to a fellow 10C member. Furthermore, when you sell the tickets, Ticketmaster holds your funds until AFTER the show. So, Ticketmaster has the seller's funds and the buyer's funds for several months. This happens over and over and makes Ticketmaster millions. It's ridiculous!
