Telsas are interesting cars. They are quick. I had one shut down on me on a business trip because of a low battery and the software updating at the same time. I do not want a car that runs like a Dell or an HP laptop and that requires me to find a geek squad when it fails. I would never buy one.

My point began with the humor I found in the "letter" referring to the Ford Mustang Mach-E as an alternative to a swasticar. If you want a car from a non-nazi company, maybe avoid Ford Auto Company.

Then GM (along with Dodge) was listed as an alternative. Again, if you want a car from a non-nazi company, maybe avoid General Motors.

No one has to boycott Ford or GM. If people are fine with supporting them, it's okay. It seems selective, to me, to distance from a company that has nazi ties, yet be okay with a company that has nazi ties.

Yeah screw that. I also think that this push for self driving cars is going to be a disaster.

Reminds me of bad 80’s movies where a Rambo-ish character solders metal panels to the sides of his van when attacking the enemy.
kinda like the a-team attaching metal plate to a dune buggy.

    or the killdozer.

at least the killdozer looked cool.

My only interaction with a SAAB was when I was a valet in college. I could not find the ignition! (That's the one, or one of them) that has the ignition in between the seats? Fun times!

You know why I don't own a Tesla?  Every time I'm in one (usually a Uber), I can tell they suck.  They feel like thin sheets of metal with spartan comfort levels.  I don't know why people liked them even before Musk went crazy.  They feel like shitty cars.

Teslas valuation has always been a joke, a lot having to do with the false  belief that Elon is a visionary. With his cars, if there hasn’t been a recall last month, there will likely be one this month.

I wouldn’t buy an EV until a few things happen, the battery issues get fixed, and I can recharge and fix the car anywhere, which is likely over a decade away.

Until then, people have every right to peacefully target his businesses as long as he is a political figure.

Many of the protest, especially in Europe, have been much larger.
And no doubt, folks here have seen the reception the Swaticars got at the Mardi Gras.
