But yeah I like the idea of the Tesla and the electronics are cool but they are shit. There is a guy in my hood that drives one of the refrigerators and he thinks it's great but it looks like a fingerprint covered refrig every time I see it.0 -

Reminds me of bad 80’s movies where a Rambo-ish character solders metal panels to the sides of his van when attacking the enemy.Hugh Freaking Dillon is currently out of the office, returning sometime in the fall0

If people refer to Teslas as swasticars and Tesla owners as nazis because Musk is a nazi/nazi-apologist, yet they find GM and Ford are suitable alternatives as a result, is interesting.1993: 11/22 Little Rock

I think if you delve far enough in to most companies/products you will discover some unsavory truths and we as the consumer/customer need to decide whether that factors in to if that's a deal breaker. Seeing the election of Donald Trump (2x) and the (mostly) support for Musk's DOGE rampage, it seems many have decided to dial back moral/social accountability and the progress we saw on those fronts after "Me Too". There are still a lot of people who don't want their vile and repulsive personality/beliefs to be an obstacle to their financial success and for the past 10 years, at least in the USA, the people have showed that they also don't want it to be a barrier so we have, and will continue to see, people empowered to be POS. There was a large social/cultural resistance to the first Trump presidency because people (especially billionaires and the wealthy) didn't want to be seen as sympathizers to a morally bankrupt and corrupt president so they took the position that was most financially and personally benefitting. Now that he was elected again, you've seen those same people show their true colors and realize they no longer need to pretend to care about those things because the repercussions are minimal and it is working (for now) for the MAGA movement. I still believe that they will all pay the price for this, but it doesn't matter when you're a billionaire 100x over.
I'm sure we'll see a plethora of half-assed redemption tours 10 - 20 years from now by these clowns, much like what McConnell has been doing lately. I am all for forgiveness and granting a reprieve when people own their mistakes and apologize for their wrongs, but I am doubtful that will happen. Bush, Cheney and the like seemed to have waited it out long enough for many to forget their atrocities so why not today's current crop? They know time is on their side.

*I'm not a Tesla owner
So should anyone that owns a Tesla be okay receiving these?
seems rather helpful to me
so whats your take on it then? It's a Swasticar: Musk is a nazi / People are saying that Musk is a nazi so by owning this car you're a nazi too and your car is a PR disaster.Resale value: This is okay on it's own. This is the key for people to sell to hurt Tesla and MuskBetter EV options: Helpful to list options other than Tesla's. (Side note: Ford Mustang Mach-E? A car from the Henry Ford company? I'll spare any links to Henry's history). It ends with a final "act fast" push. My interpretation of the ending is: it's not your fault you bought a Tesla, but just a heads up it's now considered a Swasticar and you are a nazi too. Unless you sell it.tldr: You are complicit with nazi Musk to continue to own a Tesla. Sell it so we have data to show people are dumping them.*I'm not an Elon Musk fanboi, nor do I approve of his and Doge's methods.
I totally agree with this. I'm not sure how relevant the point about Henry Ford is though, as much as I appreciate it. He's been dead a long time now.

But again, either way once the war started they were all-in on making armaments.0 -

I also don't quite understand your point. Are you arguing that we should be okay with Tesla because of what happened in the 30's with Ford and GM? That argument doesn't track in the least. Are you arguing that we should boycott Ford and GM today because of that? That's fine because ironically I drive BMW... who clearly helped in the war effort.0
