    My sister and I were talking about that today.  I suggested more people out on the streets protesting is what we need.  She said she didn't think that makes any difference anymore.  I started scanning the streets for the tallest building.  Well, four floors up is as tall as we've got in this small town, so I guess it's "hit the streets" or fuggedaboudit for me.  :lol:

    Pres. Trump posted a threat on his social media platform to sue journalists who use "anonymous" sourcing in their reporting.

    Trump aired frustration with books and stories being published "with the so-called 'anonymous,' or 'off the record,' quotes." Trump said he might even enact a law against anonymous sourcing.

    Trump has yet to approve an emergency disaster declaration for West Virginia.

    The declaration would help facilitate federal relief efforts after devastating floods last week.

    Trump laid of hundreds of staff at FEMA and has suggested states should fix their own disasters.

    Polls serve a purpose, but I'm always skeptical of them no matter what. It's become increasingly harder to capture the true thinking of those polled. Am I disgusted that 44% approve of Trump, yeah, but I'm also not surprised based on real life feedback from people we know. If you weren't turned off by his rhetoric and plans before, then him actually doing the shitty things he said hasn't swayed you.
    It's a hopeless situation...

    I guess we shall now be known as male-challenged. What a travesty. 
    It's bizarre since MAGA went all in on Biological female....and I tended to agree in regards to athletic competition....but they always have the extra step that is just, IMO, bizarre as hell. 

    With a daughter headed to college this year in a male dominated field of study, I am seriously concerned over the lazy idea of blaming DEI for everything.  Is it an issue from time to time in some places, I am certain it is as I have seen it.  But I've seen any number of people who hire or promote the person that reminds them of themself die to implicit bias that has not worked out well....regardless of race/gender/etc.

    Something goes wrong...is it a minority? a woman?  Blame their skin color or genitalia and DEI!!!!

    Something goes wrong....wait it's a white male?  Which minority or female around them set them up to fail!!!!!
