    Ok, fair. I really did miss a chunk of the beginning of the show. I’ll have to see if I can find it on YouTube and give it another chance.
    And now I have learned (relearned) a valuable lesson on why I make every effort to not go posting things online while drinking at 1 or 2am, whatever it was. I went back and watched the beginning and then Eddie again, and I had totally missed the part with him starting Less Than Zero! I stand corrected, even if he didn’t do that whole song, he started it and made the point. I recognize we are not all experiencing this timeline in the same manner, and I’m not trying to convince anyone of my reality. I was just looking for reassurance/inspiration/hope from a source I’ve always been able to find it, thought it was gone too like so many things lately, but now I’m good. Staying organized, focused, responding constantly for the past few weeks caught up to me and I will remember to take breaks. Glad I just talk-therapized myself through that.

    2) I was watching on my iPad while making dinner, key point was it was not his usual outfit.
    3) I'm female, but a) I own an sizable collection of formal gowns, and b) husband and younger son have both standard black tie and white summer tux jackets. :)

    Yeah, it was really well made, the first 6 or so minutes when all the music is overlapping and changing between artists is great.

    I hate to sound like Men's Journal or GQ, but.................get a proper formal jacket gents! I think the last time he dressed up was for the U2 Kennedy awards? And I could never pull off a white jacket.

    I think you missed my point. I wouldn't wear a sheer body stocking in public at any age. But it's exhausting to worry all the time about whether or not I'm too old to do X or wear Y, and I take inspiration from older women who really DGAF about what other people think.

    They had the whole band (+ replacement singer), played Teen Spirit, and leaned into the nostalgia of their debut SNL performance (they even had the spinning fan graphic in the background that was a part of the set at the time).

    Ed was doing more of a “tribute to others”, then pulled out Corduroy with not his band.

    Roughly how far along in the 3 hour special does Ed play? I have stuff to do this evening and can't watch the whole thing when it replays but I want to catch that. First, middle or last third?
