    PJ did RITFW with Jack in Lisbon 2018, seems like a missed opportunity, Jack crushed it, don't get me wrong but I'd prefer Ed doing this instead of the pirate thing, oh well

    I can’t be the only one feeling this was a missed opportunity to use one’s platform for protest against the coup/constitutional crisis/whatever you want to call it that is currently going on in this country? Am I in the upside-down?! What did I just watch? When I heard Eddie was scheduled to perform for this, I thought, I hope he does “I am a Patriot” or “Know Your Rights”, but really something off of Riot Act would have worked, or Dark Matter, React, Respond??! To be fair, I missed the beginning, did I just not see where current events were mentioned?

    Yeah Eddie changes the world. Like he did in 2004 with VOC (great for us) and 2016 and 2024. Ed doesn’t change anything. It’s sad to think people think a musician can change someone’s mind….

    I agree with what you said, wasn’t the event for political outbursts, it was to celebrate SNL and music. Eddie did ask Tom, one of his questions, is it going to be ok? Also Jack White ending with Rockin in the Free World kinda said what they were feeling. The biggest joke is in the White House and the world knows what an embarrassment he is. It was nice to have a break from the lies and just enjoy good music for a couple hours.

    It was a milestone anniversary event for a sketch comedy show

    I'm about halfway through and it's a ton of fun. Ed was fantastic. Kirk Douglas is the Roots guitarist who ripped that solo at the end of Corduroy. Tracy Morgan was my other highlight - legit lol with him every time.
