The Smithfield-Liberty garage (111 9th street, Pittsburgh 15222), is about a 10 minute walk from the arena. It’s has direct access to and from the Fort Pitt tunnels (highway access), or if needed to go another direction, has easy access to the other highways. You could hit some traffic getting into the city, but avoid the major traffic that goes to the arena.maverick said:Can anyone very familiar with parking nearby the arena speak to a couple places to park or definitely NOT park at based on easy access out? I’ve got a long drive after each show and would like to plan out where to park in advance, not just turn up and hope for the best driving around the arena.I’m happy to walk 10-15 minutes from the venue to a lot/ garage if it provides faster getaway access to the highway to get home. Thanks in advance to whomever can help. Also there is the Forbes iParkitGarage (400 Smithfield Street, Pittsburgh 15219. https://www.iparkit.com/locations/forbes-garage-self-park?utm_source=googlemybusinesslisting&utm_medium=organic&start=2025-01-31T16:00:00.000Z&end=2025-01-31T17:00:00.000Z&timezone=America%2FNew_YorkBasically around the same walking distance as Smithfield garage. Not as direct to get in and out of the city (compared to Smithfield). Still not difficult to get to a highway. Avoid the main arena traffic, mainly after the show.
Any other info needed, feel free to ask. Good luck, have fun and welcome!0 -
The only tickets they may be holding back for Pitt are premiums and maybe a standard drop day of show within the first few sections. All the uppers and the side stage tickets were sold during the public sale. TM didn’t hold back for Pitt.2003: Uniondale, MSG x2 | 2004: Reading | 2005: Gorge, Vancouver, Philly | 2006: East Rutherford x2, Gorge x2, Camden 1, Hartford | 2008: MSG x2, VA Beach | 2009: Philly x3 | 2010: MSG x2, Bristow | 2011: Alpine Valley x2 | 2012: MIA Philly | 2013: Wrigley, Charlottesville, Brooklyn 2 | 2014: Milan, Amsterdam 1 | 2016: MSG x2, Fenway x2, Wrigley 2 | 2018: Rome, Krakow, Berlin, Wrigley 2 | 2021: Sea Hear Now | 2022: San Diego, LA x2, MSG, Camden, Nashville, St. Louis, Denver | 2023: St. Paul 1, Chicago x2, Fort Worth x2, Austin 2 | 2024: Las Vegas 1, Seattle x2, Indy, MSG x2, Philly x2, Baltimore, Ohana 2 | 2025: Florida x2, Atlanta x2, Pittsburgh x20

How did you get this information and how do you know its true? The other shows were also showing that they were sold out before they magically found tickets for half the arena overnight. I'm sure they held back more than those scam/premium seats.HailHailVitalogy said:The only tickets they may be holding back for Pitt are premiums and maybe a standard drop day of show within the first few sections. If what you are claiming was true, we would have seen a HELL of a lot more tickets for Pittsburgh on the scalper sites like stubhub than the other venues. That has not been the case. They just released thousands of seats for Raleigh and Nash, so it was impossible tor those seats to even make it to the "aftermarket" sites. Also, ALL of the tickets for Pitt on stubhub are all the same few rows in the upper level. L-Q. This pretty much nails down the fact that they only released those 6 rows or something along those lines. They are definitely holding back tickets for Pitt.0 -

You watched tickets from every single row of every level sell out in real time? Or you saw tickets from each section sell in real time. There's quite a difference. Again, why are the only ones on stubhub and the other sites all the same select rows. No outliers. Every single ticket is from a certain portion of the rows. There's no way the whole arena sold out.HailHailVitalogy said:

I think maybe people are selling short the demand for Pitt, given that there are no other NE, Midwest or Canadian dates this run. I think a whooole lotta people are traveling for these ones. (I know, a lot of people travel for most of their shows, but someone in NC or FLA doesn’t need to go to Atl to see them this year for example. But there will certainly be Chi, Mil, Toronto & Philly people all going to Pitt.)HailHailVitalogy said:

I don't know how that's even possible, but ok. There is no way of seeing which seats were held back, that's the point. By the time you log in and the sale starts, the locked out tickets are already "sold"/accounted for. Also, I am not arguing that the last row may have sold, but some of the rows at the front of the upper level were blocked off, so that's all that was showing available.HailHailVitalogy said:

I mean they are still doing this with all the shows. They had the fake "Premium" seats listed for weeks, then all of a sudden we are supposed to believe that they all sold for $1000 each at the same exact time? No, they took them down and will relist them (probably at a lower price) down the road.0 -

Both things can be true. I'm not at all saying there were tickets sold in every section available, but all anyone can see are the ones they made available for sale. The millisecond the sale starts, there are tons of seats "accounted for" which would be a combination of ones that actually sold and those that just didn't get released.Kwieneke said:

Possibly, but again, lets not act like Pittsburgh, PA is some Mecca for concerts. Nashville has more than twice the population, is one of the entertainment capitals of the world, and is booming with tourists 365 days of the year. Yes, months after these shows went on sale, 25% of the arena in Nashville remains unsold at face value. I am not saying Pitt has poor demand, and it does have the weekend going for it, but there's no way in hell they sold the entire arena for both shows in an instant and every "Premium"/garbage ticket for $1000 sold too. They are playing games with every show. There will be a ticket dump for Pitt, just wait and see.HailHailVitalogy said:The front rows of the uppers were for fan club were they not?0 -

I am not saying Pitt has poor demand, and it does have the weekend going for it, but there's no way in hell they sold the entire arena for both shows in an instant and every "Premium"/garbage ticket for $1000 sold too. They are playing games with every show. There will be a ticket dump for Pitt, just wait and see.HailHailVitalogy said:The front rows of the uppers were for fan club were they not?0 -
I’m not denying there will be a ticket dump. Of course there will be, just not a “dump” like the other shows. Maybe a few rows like Philly 1 and 2. I think you’re forgetting what is surrounding Pittsburgh. You have all of Philly, NY, and DC traveling for these weekend shows. All of Ohio will be traveling since they’ve been getting screwed on shows. Then you have Toronto and Buffalo markets traveling. They should have added two Detroit dates, neither team will make a deep playoff run.2003: Uniondale, MSG x2 | 2004: Reading | 2005: Gorge, Vancouver, Philly | 2006: East Rutherford x2, Gorge x2, Camden 1, Hartford | 2008: MSG x2, VA Beach | 2009: Philly x3 | 2010: MSG x2, Bristow | 2011: Alpine Valley x2 | 2012: MIA Philly | 2013: Wrigley, Charlottesville, Brooklyn 2 | 2014: Milan, Amsterdam 1 | 2016: MSG x2, Fenway x2, Wrigley 2 | 2018: Rome, Krakow, Berlin, Wrigley 2 | 2021: Sea Hear Now | 2022: San Diego, LA x2, MSG, Camden, Nashville, St. Louis, Denver | 2023: St. Paul 1, Chicago x2, Fort Worth x2, Austin 2 | 2024: Las Vegas 1, Seattle x2, Indy, MSG x2, Philly x2, Baltimore, Ohana 2 | 2025: Florida x2, Atlanta x2, Pittsburgh x20

I'm with you on that! Detroit is my stomping grounds. Also, just for fun, screw Ohio! They shouldn't be allowed to attend any shows. Sorry, had to do it.HailHailVitalogy said:I’m not denying there will be a ticket dump. Of course there will be, just not a “dump” like the other shows. Maybe a few rows like Philly 1 and 2.
