It’s a matter of personal preference, but I personally much prefer higher up closer to the stage than further away lower down. I think 210 will give you a much better view than back of the lower bowl in 118.

Sound is usually very good anywhere in a lower bowl (including behind the stage if there are speaker stacks back there).

Upper bowl can have good sound but there is a higher risk that sound is not as good.

These are general comments about arenas, not Nashville specific.

There's pics on aviewfrommyseat in both of these sections. 210 has a pic from row F and 118 has one in row L.

Judging on just those pics alone I'd go with 210 but as EnjoyBeing stated, may run the risk of sound being an issue. 118 N is not a bad seat at all.

I go for sound...118 won't be a bad view either and you'll get full view of the screens. You won't see much of those in 210 I don't think

Thanks for everyone’s comments so far. Why is it assumed the sound would be better in 118 compared to 210? Would the sound be any different in 210 than the top few rows in 106?

Having been both places, 210 is gonna be closer and have a better view. Not to mention, it's club level. So, bigger seats and your own restrooms and concessions. There's only 4 rows in the section, so not nearly as many people to deal with. And despite what has been suggested, you will have a full view of the screens.

Everyone I've spoken with thats been to Nashville says the 200s are better

the "Mix" area (between Floor sec 4 and 6) is where PJs sound techs sit and adjust everything. In theory the sound will be best there

I think sitting by the mix is really nice for most bands. For Pearl Jam, I don’t think it matters to much. If it’s a good building for sound, they’ll sound good anywhere you sit.

Sitting in 210 area is underrated I think. That club level close to the stage is actually really nice for arena shows.

All personal preference as others have said but the amps and speakers face forward, not sideways. Anyone who says the sound in the wings is the same as the sound straight on has likely never worked a soundboard. (I don't mean that as a dig...just a fact. For people who want the purest and best sound it's dead on and out a bit. rail sound sucks and so does the wings).

Personally I also like the view straight on unless I'm close (pit).

I saw PJ at Bridgestone arena last time and the sound was absolutely phenomenal. Like seriously one of the best sounding shows I’ve seen (and I’ve seen A LOT). I could focus in on any instrument at any time and hear it perfectly clear! I have heard Brigdestine was built with concert sound in mind. Basically I’m saying you probably can’t go wrong.
