    It was a wonderful moment (insert sarcasm emoji) at Christmas dinner when my 7 year old niece said she wanted socks for Christmas (for her cuddle buddies) and her other uncle said “What, not world peace or Trump being assassinated?”

    I’ve been told repeatedly that I have one of the Canadian variants of TDS (Trudeau Derangement Syndrome) and despite my strong feelings about my PM, I have never even joked about him being killed, in fact I argue against it because it would make him a martyr.

    The worst part about my brother-in-law’s comment was that he was throwing stones from a glass house.

     I think what I’m trying to get at is that we ALL need to do better.

    A Colorado man is facing possible bias-motivated charges for allegedly attacking a television news reporter after demanding to know whether he was a citizen, saying “This is Trump’s America now,” according to court documents.

    Patrick Thomas Egan, 39, was arrested December 18 in Grand Junction after police say he followed KKCO/KJCT reporter Ja’Ronn Alex’s vehicle for around 40 miles from the Delta area. Alex told police that he believed he had been followed and attacked because he is Pacific Islander.
