Baltimore.  I'll take sidestage over most other locations.

I sat about there for the shows at MSG this year. I really liked that Side view. dmbolp said:
All pics posted look great because they're side seats close to the stage.

Anyone have pics from the nosebleeds that are also to the side?  That's what I currently have for Pitt 1 lol
    This bad enough? :)

DMB 2012 C'ville, bought for $10 in the lots walking into the venue

I was about that same as that one you Posted^^^ in Chicago and I never felt so disengaged from any concert, let alone a Pearl Jam concert.

Never again, if I can help it.

But the Side Stage in the First Level I'd take in a second as I've sat in that area for a few Concerts. I have a Side Stage ticket for Pittsburgh that I know I will enjoy the show from there.
  • Lower level side stage are kick ass. My preferred seats.
Balcony side stage? Are like any other upper level seat. They suck monkey balls.

Thank you. I think my Pitt 1 seats are comparable. But I’ll try to upgrade if possible.

Had side stage the first time when I was able to get seats a few hours before Fairfax 94. I  was surprised how much better they were than I thought they would be. I would take them any day at face over all uppers and seats much further away in the lowers. Best bargain if you didn't get something in the lottery.

Normally side stage is great. But for the Dark Matter Tour, you don't get the full effect of the videos unless you are straight-on. You'll only see parts of the screens from the side, and some of the visuals really only work best from straight-on. Like, in a hockey arena, your seats would need to be past the red line or far blue line to really see the full screens.

I love side of the stage. It's where I typically look for last second seats. They usually open up a bit before the show starts and are universally an awesome spot to watch the show. Sat on the side for Toronto in 2022, Chicago 1 in 2023, and Baltimore in 2024—was awesome each time.
