Catch all thread for all things military. Saw recent both the Navy and AFir Force fired some commanders of units. Wasn't sure any might have interest in that stufff. But THIS is of interest to me. Am former Navy. Dad was Army. Brother was Air Force and is current DoD AF employee as a civilian.

Read recently of failed audits. Not sure if specific branch or DoD as a whole. This is the kind of shit Congress was built for. Fraud, Waste and Abuse not culture war bullshit....

    I've been curious about these drone sightings in NJ that everyone is freaking out about on tiktok. Seems to be the XP-4 drone.

    Crazy that people believe there could be alien or foreign drones around a military base that we don't shoot down. Logic people.

    maybe people got them for someone for the holidays and they want to try them out before gifting it.

    You have to register a drone with the FAA and if you are in the area of air traffic you need clearance. Some drones do have a radio transmitter, so in some cases they know.

    I'm not surprised there is so little explanation and can very much see the public being kept in the dark about this sort of thing. About 50 years ago, I saw something very peculiar one night high up in the atmosphere over a place in the Mojave desert. I called the nearest large observatory the next day to report in detail where I had been and what I had seen. The person I talked to said something about how I must have been mistaken. I told him, no, I was with a friend and we both saw the exact same thing. He responded again in a very harsh tone and told me, "No, you did NOT see anything." No way was I going to press the matter.

    would tend to agree. but lets apply occums razor to this.

    what seems to make the most sense? without contorting ourselves into a knot.

    one theory could be that on its face the statement is true. the question would naturally arise, well how do they know that? seems reasonable to ask and I believe it is. one answer might be should the government reveal something in regards to investigative techniques that could be thwarted or exploited by bad actors? I would argue no.

    so whats really happened here? some people have noted some type of craft around certain areas. this we know. whats occured beyond that?
