ticketmaster scalping through 10 club

tried to get tickets today through the artisan request my 10 club request I received 6 out of ten tickets went on ticketmaster to get the other 4, 2 of them I was able to receive at price the other two shows the tickets started at $500.00 because you have to be a ten club member to get early purchasing it would stand to reason ticketmaster is allowing scalping or scalping or this early registration through 10 club is being infiltrated by scalpers. Time to fix as stated scalped tickets will be removed yet they are selling triple the price. So much for policy.

You got six out of ten? That is lucky. So many got no tickets in the 10c sale at all. And PJ Premium pricing was kown ahead. It stinks and sucks but it is what it is. I hope they sit on these expensive tickets until they are green in the face but it looks like people are buying even them.
Please, Pearl Jam, consider a Benaroya Hall vinyl reissue! http://community.pearljam.com/discussion/148993/please-pearl-jam-consider-a-vinyl-benaroya-hall-re-issue0 -
Shit man...did you try calling the cops?

You don't sound like you've been to a concert in a while and have no idea on how modern concert ticketing works :( it sucks, but it is what it is.

Ticketmaster is bullshit. They manipulate everything. Last 3 times I bought tickets for anything, I did the usual queue for whatever length of time. Then when you get through to buy, nothing available. Check again about 30min later, some tickets appear, so buy the first crap tickets that pop up. Another 30min passes, and there are hundreds of better tickets available. Creating demand.
Best available option when tickets are available is bullshit too. I'm taking my kid to the WWE. Best available tickets were offered for tiered seats. Scrolled through all available tickets and ringside werev available for standard price.
Just don't believe anything they put out anymore.Kearnsy0 -

Just don't believe anything they put out anymore.so in other. words, theres a cost to taking the short cut (i.e. best available).....for myself I try to search a given price point and then look for a pair on the aisle. bigger dude and get cramped so if I can get one leg out from behind the seat in fornt of me so much the better.

Just don't believe anything they put out anymore.Yah, we went to Survivor series a few weeks ago. They were asking so much for tickets and there were so many for sale, we opted to wait closer to the date to buy them. Worked out great. We got tickets they were selling for 500-700 during the onsale (regular price, not platinum) for about 200. Pretty good seats up 11 rows up lower bowl, right in the middle of the sides so your looking right at the ring(s). The WWE event was the most liberal I've seen TM being with the pricing. The prices for non platinum tickets were constantly changing. The whole venue was dynamic pricing. Probably worked for them. Most of the tickets were sold when I looked an hour before it started. It is rough though. Unless your in super high demand market, or trying to see a band playing a venue below their weight class, the thing to do is wait until the end. TM is completely not transparent about tickets. Even when they put platinums up, they're sitting on a pile they haven't put up. you have no idea how many tickets they have in reserve. They tend to sell worst to best, because the worst tickets are the ones harder to move at the end. All more reasons to wait until closer to show time to buy tickets. On the flip side if you underestimate demand you might get burned. I didn't buy Vancouver AC/DC tickets and the demand was off the charts. People were gobbling up 800 dollars Platinum tickets like they were Pac Man, it was crazy.0 -
Signed up a day ago , hits most of his entries then cried about something he doesn’t even understand then curses out moms and other members. I hope there’s a way to deny all
his lotto entries. ClassyPost edited by Sea on0 -
