    We just got Pitts night 2 reserved and Pitts night 1 unfilled. I should have entered my wife as well, but as a Canadian you can’t sell the tickets through Ticketmaster.com. Didn’t want to potentially get hung with extras.

    Good for you but that feels kind of unfair when so many got shut out. But I get it, it is a lottery and there is too much demand for too little supply. Not looking forward to the Artist sale.

    This is the definition of random. Some will get all, some will get some, some will get none. 
    While you are correct that there will be variance. The probability of outcomes varies greatly. Speculation based on entry numbers is there were ~25,000 entries. For the sake of this exercise let’s assume the average number of shows selected was 3. The probability of a single entry winning 0 lotteries, when entering a minimum of 3, is 66.48%. The probability of an entry winning 7 or more is 0.000018%. 
    Yeah this is the answer to the flippant "that's how lotteries go" response. If it's tough enough that you see people going 0 for 10, you wouldn't think you'd see many if any 7 for 8s.

    We have no idea how the sausage is made so I'm not saying there's some grand conspiracy. But I also wouldn't constantly jump in and tut-tut someone who is frustrated.
    Well said. There are clearly some selection details that we are not privy to. Thanks to F2F, my account probably refreshed TMs site 100k times last year. And then I requested all 10 shows as GA/Res. In their eyes, the probability of me being the PJ crazed fan that I am is probably pretty low! 

    We clearly don't know all the details of this "lottery." And to be fair, they're the bands tickets and they can distribute them however they want.
    There’s “how they want” and how it was posted to everyone, including a link to some fair ticketing thing I didn’t click. I’m not calling shenanigans, but people going 0-16 and others 7-8 just doesn’t seem lottery-ish.

    One data point but I ended up 2/4 (both Nashville including GA!!!, no Florida) and was a combined 1/10 the last 2 draws. 

    I want the old lottery back big time but I honestly think this one was the same as all the past TM lottos.

    For MSG last year, you could request 10C tickets for both shows, but you were only allowed to win one show.  Seems like they should do this for every city that has multiple shows.  If you want the other show, go through Ticketmaster presale or Fan 2 Fan.  You’d be giving tickets to more 10C members and seeing a lot less shutouts and frustration.  I went 0-for-6 on these shows and seeing people win 5, 6, or more shows is just strange.

    Maybe...or maybe just limit how many shows you can request so success pct goes up. I only requested two shows this time -- both the shows in my hometown of Raleigh. I got em both and I think that's fair. They haven't played here in 20 years and I've been 10C way longer than that.

    I live in Raleigh and didn’t get either show.  10C member since ‘98.  I’m just thinking of ways to get more tickets into 10C members hands without getting shutout.  Seems like the way they select MSG tickets is a viable option.  Of course it doesn’t matter now since the lottery is done.  Congrats on the Raleigh tickets and I’ll be trying to get those two shows as well.

    And for those that got most , or all when did you submit.. I submitted Dec 6 at 8pm.. and was 4/4 all seats,  I have a feeling how they have been working these is that pick a starting order or time as basis for all their allocation. If you were on the tail end of the algorithm, by the time the order numbers came back to yours the show was sold through... This time I didnt hear of anyone getting to many GA like in 2024 where some got all or most GA if they requested.. .

    And so the hunt begins for a Pgh n2 ticket. I grew up there so this is the show I am looking forward to the most. Good friends and family and Pearl Jam is always on fire in Pgh!

    It seems to me that TM just removed some accounts entries from the draw entirely, and those entries were never even considered.

    I know so many of my 10c member friends who got absolutely nothing even for shows that you would think would have lower demand.  I personally believe this may have been an attempt to close the “loophole” by which people with multiple 10c accounts can put in an entry for each account and increase their ticket odds.

    Plus, everyone getting Raleigh GA 1 and Raleigh RES 2 hit simultaneously was odd, and is even more odd now
    The way the Raleigh lotto rolled out with people getting RES N2 immediately after getting GA N1 we could tell something was different this time 
    It seemed 10C was doing right by people that had 2016 Raleigh canceled by fullfilling their requests first and then processing everyone else the the show order.


    I know people that had GA for 2016 that missed out. 

    Also why would  that be any different than  Baltimore, Vegas, or Sacramento? They got no special treatment. 

    Because Raleigh was canceled by PJ as a protest to the bathroom bill the NC legislature passed. Baltimore was canceled by an act of god (COVID).
    More like renovations. 
    I’m not sure why you gotta bring accuracy into this conversation. That doesn’t fit their narrative.

    The original was canceled because of COVID in 2020. It wasn't rescheduled as part of the Gigaton tour because of renovations. The only narrative is actual history. Unless history and facts are your "they." Raleigh 2016 was cancelled as a protest.
    But people that had Raleigh 2016 were shut out for 2025. Wouldn’t it make more sense that it is a coincidence people hit both lottos instead of the narrative of they helped some out but not others?
    Maybe they ran out of slots that they carved out for the shows? Too many people with 2016 got N1 GA and/or N2 Reserve in a wave that was done before any other for it not to be planned. It's beyond coincidence. The fact that it was essential a pre-draw before the "real" draw later that night seems to also point to that.

    I did have Raleigh last time and was part of the wave this time. For what’s its worth.
