Moved from Boston in 2021, thought I'd never see another PJ show locally.  =)
We will probably be seat neighbors on night 2!

Coming to ATL for the first time to celebrate my 50th birthday. Got reserved N1 and GA N2! Question: as an REM fan, is it worth making a pilgrimage over to Athens the day between shows?

I would say absolutely if it’s your first time in ATL.  Some cool shops like Wuxtry if you like records, pubs and the 40 Watt Club.  Also, the Bear Hollow Zoo is worth a visit.  It’s a small zoo, but it’s free.

Do you know if there is a train or any other public transport from ATL to Athens?  We are thinking of going there for the day but won't be renting a car.  Thanks!

No. The public transport is very much limited to within the beltway. Even the field where the Braves play is barely covered by a bus line.

Thought I had pit tix for a full 2 hrs today cuz I misread the state abbreviation as my ticket location 🤣
Still thrilled to have reserved seats for both nights & my son’s first PJ shows!

I rented a car in Fort Worth for the day and only about $95. Go for it!

The Murmur bridge is there (although it’s been constructed around and looks different). Old church steeple from their first show. Se above about Wuxtry, there is the 40 Watt and you can eat at Weaver D’s (Automatic for the People inspiration).

If anyone has an extra for either night (or both), I’m looking for a single for myself.
