The Bubblegum XX box set has just arrived, and it’s fucking awesome!

Bubblegum remastered on double vinyl, Here Comes That Weird Chill with extra tracks, and an LP of unreleased songs and demos.

The book has a ton of cool Steve Gulick photos, recording logs, session notes, and essays by Troy Van Leeuwen, Josh Homme, Chris Goss, Alain Johannes, Dave Catching, Greg Dulli, Duff McKagan, and Brett Netson.

Following her acclaimed new solo album, Bow To Love, Isobel Campbell announces the reissue of Ballad Of The Broken Seas, the debut album by Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan, via Cooking Vinyl.

The album garnered widespread acclaim, with the duo being hailed as a modern day Nancy & Lee, and went on to be shortlisted for the Mercury Prize. From the brooding opener “Deus Ibi Est” to the melancholic “The False Husband” and the poignant title track, Ballad Of The Broken Seas resonates as powerfully today as it did upon its initial release.

He apologized to him for that afterwords. Great read.

Indeed!  Nearly finished it, and I can honestly say it's one of the best books I've ever read.  Just at the bit where Mark's been burnt twice by dealers in Amsterdam on the same night. Oh, oh!

It’s time like these that I wished I still lived in London

I really hope they film this so we can all experience it.

QOTSA, Barrett Martin, and Aldo Struyf were also tagged in the original post.

A lot of videos are popping up on FB already. Someone posted that they recorded the whole show. Josh and Dulli sounded great!

Thanks! For the first 3 seconds I thought Dulli was Curley. Would love to see them do one in the States. Not sure if that's at all in the cards

Also very encouraging to see Josh looking and sounding good in the Carnival video.

The full show is up on YouTube now. There were plenty of reports of pro cameras filming so hopefully we'll see a high quality recording someday

The thing I really like about this audio book is that Mark himself narrated it really keeps me glued to it!
