Forever, I have wanted to see two shows back-to-back. The closest I ever got was PJ20 when, right before PJ hit the stage the second night, my buddy got a phone call from his wife saying his youngest daughter was in the hospital. He wanted to leave immediately and who was I to say no? Thankfully, she was fine, but I cannot tell you just how surreal it felt to be walking away from the venue just as they hit stage. I'm not going to lie, I was positively stunned from that for a long time. Since then, I could never get the dates (or the funds) to line up. So, when I saw they were doing two shows in Atlanta, those old feelings stirred up again. I asked my wife if it would be possible to swing both shows. She said we could, but we could only afford for her to attend one show with me and, on night 2, I'm on my own. I put in for both shows so here's to hoping I can pull both off. Not to mention I completely missed the Gigaton tour which is the first tour I've missed since Yield so I have to catch up. Ha!

A long ass way, especially with work traffic. 1.5-2 hour drive. No traffic, 35-40 minutes.

I'm at the Reverb hotel by arena. I live in NW Georgia but still not quite close enough to go all the way back between shows..I'm blind at night driving 🙃

Highly recommend pre gaming here. Maybe a 10 minute walk to arena. Real German feel. Big German beers.

  • Anyone serious about heading out to Gwinnett for the Stripers (fun experience), I highly recommend La Mixteca Tamale House which is a few exits south of Stripers. Really good authentic Mexican.

Has anyone done a Truist Park tour? Wondering if it’s worth the time & $.
I’m shocked at how expensive it is to watch batting practice.
  • I have an Airbnb booked across the street from Ponce for a potential big group coming, and a hotel booked in Buckhead if it’s a smaller group. Both options ok for after the shows? Seems like might need to Uber from Ponce

Not sure exactly where you are on Ponce. You might have to Uber. Buckhead is a definite Uber.

Buckhead could be an easy MARTA train ride.  There's a station just outside the north side of State Farm.
