How solid is Hollywood over other FL cities?0

Welcome to the forums. Given the sources, I'd say pretty solid. Will be a tough ticket to get, for sure.qkibs said:How solid is Hollywood over other FL cities?"A smart monkey doesn't monkey around with another monkey's monkey" - Darwin's Theory0 -
The Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL is a very small venue for a band like PJ especially given their usual penchant for playing at arenas & baseball stadiums. The only larger venues in the area for them to play at would be Amerant Arena in Sunrise where the Panthers hockey play; the arena where the Miami Heat play (name escapes me); Baseball stadium for the Marlins; and the Hard Rock Stadium where the Dolphins play.Admin @ Vinyl Collective: Vinyl Record Collector Community and Forum

If this list is accurate, then it makes financial sense for the band for there to be 1-2 festivals somewhere in the mix. Having 4 days off between Atlanta and Nashville makes no sense unless something like JazzFest is scheduled therepjl44 said:
This would put them in the area for Boston Calling May 23-25 especially if they squeezed in another stop. Maybe that's where Canada fits?OceanSoul71 said:

If these dates are right I’d be very surprised if they weren’t at Jazz festWeston1283 said:

Science teacher too. And feel the same. But wouldn’t most jobs? Most people work M-F and a lot of people travel to see this band. Both Atlanta and Nashville are about 3 hour drives. But I will have to take off 2 days to make each show! So out of 4 shows that are relatively close, I’ll make maybe 1. Make it a Friday/Sunday and I’d make them all.Satans Red Mosquito said:RatherStarved said:

As with most bands....they don't make their schedules to make out-of-town fans happy.....0

They should come to more centrally located Orlando. The Magic's Kia Center holds 20K...same as Heat and Panthers.jhulud said:The Seminole Hard Rock in Hollywood, FL is a very small venue for a band like PJ especially given their usual penchant for playing at arenas & baseball stadiums. I stand corrected on all non festival dates being 2 days. Apologies. I honestly thought 1 day stops were typical each tour for multiple reasons.0

I saw someone commenting that April in Florida is the High Point for storms and tornado season. As someone who’s lived in this area for a decade, I can guarantee that both of those things are false. We don’t even have a tornado season and especially not near Miami.0

Hotel booked for Pitt night one.
I'll ride the wave where it takes me......0 -
FYI there are dozens of close hotels near the arena in Pittsburgh.___________________________________________

As someone who works at the Kia center, I would probably die if this happenedSpartanacus said:

They said the South, not Florida. And for the cities in the South (Atlanta, Raleigh, Nashville) they are correct.ChrisCarter said:I saw someone commenting that April in Florida is the High Point for storms and tornado season. Exactly. Middle of the week makes it harder for me as well, especially since I'm in the northeast and the semester ends early May. Make them weekend shows and I'll be able to fly in Thursday or Friday and still be in the classroom Monday.mace1229 said:
