Yeah that was a real highlight for me. I love that song!

  • I still can't get over how amazing crazy mary and black are.

I never realised what a real find Boom was until I heard him on CM. He is absolutely stunning. I wonder if he came up with that ending himself or how much the others had input into it?

And mike? What can I say about his talent that is original and new? I can't, but he is a God.

  • I love Low Light.

I really love I Believe in Miracles.

Down is awesome and Immortality, too.

But I have to say I agree with you guys about the part from Masters of War until the end. I sometimes play the whole show on my ipod before I go to bed and I've found that if I'm still awake at Masters, then there's no chance of sleep for quite a while 'cause by the time I finish hearing Yellow Ledbetter I'm way too excited to sleep! BTW does anybody know if Ed actually knows the lyrics for that song? Or if there really are lyrics? Just wondering, but it still rocks, maybe because of all the mumbling!

The whole show was great and all you guys who got to see it in person, well, I guess you know how lucky you were!
And so today, my world it smiles, your hand in mine, we walk the miles, Thanks to you it will be done, for you to me are the only one...
If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you. When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me.

The end of the show fucking rules, but nothing as it Seems and Low Light are deadly too. And I love Thin Air when they fuck up and Ed is all like "there's no way we were getting away with that one"

  • Masters of War would have to be my choice. That song chills me to the bone.
"This is another sing-a-long." - Eddie Vedder before singing Lukin live at Madison Square Garden.
  • Masters of war is awesome, but i think Black was the best you could tell how stoked everyone was when they bought it out n when the crowd sung it was so awesome.
"I wish I was Australian at home under the sun" Eddie- Perth 03
  • As a Diehard Dylan freak I have to go with Masters of war. I was so excited when I heard it, because the only version I had was from the Dylan anniversary concert and he skips a verse or two, this one definitely rocked. Plus I think it was about time the band made that statement again, what with dubya's war and all. after that its 25 min to go, cash is the man, and it's good to see pj thtow some attention to another amazing musician, I hope it opens up some minds. and then you gotta love acoustic lukin
It's really great when your in a limo you can put your head to the window and look out at all the homeless people-E.V.
  • have to say.....fatal, nothing as it seems and man of the hour....played as they were together.....absolutely stunning to my senses.
i'll ride the wave where it takes me
  • I thought Man of the Hour was great, but that feedback right in the middle killed me. It's such a soft song that it was like finger nails on a chalk board.
"No time to be void or save up on life...
You got to spend it all."
  • all or none, off he goes, black and crazy mary!
I loved masters of war until they almost f***ked it up with the guitar playing. Which by the way is a shame because it SUCH a great song and the performance was absolutely stunning up til this point...sorry to say it, but it destroys the song for me...

    btw...listening to black now...the crowd! what can I say...amazing
  • Black! Hands down! Probably the best version of this song ever recorded! I love it! I get goosebumps everytime I hear it!

I also love Man of the Hour. So does my 5 year old! She knows all the words to it too! I want to record her singing it and then post it here! I think you guys would get a kick out of it!
  • Parting Ways and Master of War......... just so good!!!!!!!!!
    "believe in lies....... its divine"
  • The version of black is amazing alright,
I love the version of Lukin and the introduction that Stone gives it aswell
and at the end of the song where Eddie talks about how Mike's misinterpretation of the words of that song by KISS
Thin Air with the mistake in the middle is a standout point for me
coz it just shows that they are human afterall and make mistakes
