Since some people don't seem to want to discuss this under the #47 (AKA the Felon) thread, let's talk about it here:
I think that if Harris had won the election, her voters would have responded with joy, happiness, celebration, etc.  I don't get the feeling that way about the MAGA fans.  They seem either subdued, snarky/troll like, and often angry- not anger like the disappointment type anger we Harris voters feel, but just the usual mean bully style anger.  Part of that, I suppose, is that's just how some people are normally. But my guess is that part of it is because I think deep down, MAGA fans know they have fucked up themselves (as well as everybody else)by electing the Felon into office.  There's a lot being said about how the felon and his pals have made promises they cannot and don't intend to keep, and I think a lot of MAGAs know that.  OOOPS, too late!
For those of us who love democracy and freedom from tyranny, it's important to keep this point in the foreground and made recognizable because it's almost blatantly evident and those voters need to own it.
Now, a few of you have suggested elsewhere that true MAGA fans will support the Felon no matter what.  My guess is that, deep down, some of the die-hard MAGA will eventually figure out how badly they blew it electing 47.   But what about the other republicans (and others even!) who voted for D. T.  Will they regret doing so?  Have they already?

Have you experienced that first hand?  MAGA fans here sure don't seem elated, more like defensive than anything.  Am I missing something?

The ones I know seem pretty dang happy to me. Whether it bites them in the ass at some point is entirely possible. When the promised cuts to the federal budget happen and money is removed from a program that they approve of, it will be fun to watch.

I think it's inevitable that it will bite them in the ass.  I don't know how they can't already see that (well, I have a hunch, but I'll bite my tongue for now.)

They absolutely don't see it. There is never any regret. Seeing libs upset is fuel.

You are giving these guys a lot of fuel :)

They're glad he won but they've been driven for years and years by outrage about how evil/terrible/etc. everyone else is. My anecdotal experience is that they went from being happy when W (who they used to love and now do not) was winning to being angry starting sometime in the Obama years. Trump's win is outstanding news for them (at least right now) but there are still wokesters, betas, virtue-signalers, secularists, child traffickers,* they/thems, and hollywood elites working tirelessly to make their lives worse. That's never going away. The hard-core ones can be happy with election results but it's difficult to overcome the constant barrage of misery they no longer realize they are choosing to have jammed into their heads.

*the fake ones. They're not actual concerned with the real stories.

If that's how it appears, I need to make something clear here.  I am not upset.  True, when the election results came through I was disturbed and angry, but that's natural.  Who wouldn't be angry with seeing the end of democracy in America?  The way I see it, you would have to be crazy not to be angry and disturbed by that.
But now it is what it is and I'm moving forward.  Forward to me means fighting for democracy.  Being upset leads to apathy.  Being righteously angry leads to action.  If anyone was is giving fuel, it's the blind-sighted MAGAs who are giving me fuel (thanks, guys!)
And if MAGAs don't see how fucked up their lives will be as a result of electing a dictator with serious cognitive decline who, along with the help of a few super rich, are going to drain their resources, that's too bad, they're the ones who voted him in.  Besides, at this point, I can't do anything about that.  I'm going to stand up for democracy with renewed energy.

    Yes we are

I am happy that I no longer feel like I am the problem with this world for what I believe in by the outspoken extreme minority.   I am American.  I understand people have different views then me and I am OK with that.  I stand for democracy and I do not feel the government should tell me what I can and cannot do.

Also,  thank you for you for labeling me as a "troll", "a mean bully" and then tell me "I fucked up."  It’s unfortunate there is so much hate in this world and you label me these things but please, look in the mirror, it has been sung,  “if you hate something, don’t you do it to?”

You may seem less combative towards people if you let politics not consume your life.

    Have an awesome day!

My original post was an observation and my comments about MAGAs were a generalization.  I have not said anything about any individual here.  Also note, there are exceptions to generalizations.  If anyone has taken what I said here personally, that's an unfortunate misunderstanding on their part.  Also, as far as I can tell, I have not broken any forum rules in what I've said here, but if anyone has an issue with what I posted, feel free to flag my post.  I'm always willing to admit and correct an error.
