My final thoughts on this election and my FINAL post in this thread
The American people saved this Country from further decline. Donald Trump is not the savior, he is the messenger. He still has powerful forces against him. The Republican and Democrat swamp have a lot to lose if Trump does follow through with his promises.
For me, he needs to pull the curtain on Government corruption and incompetence. He needs to expose the DOJ/FBI for their involvement in RussiaGate and J6. He needs to hold Fauci/NIH accountable for the lies. He needs to promote peace. He needs to stop illegal immigration. He needs to kill DEI and the Woke mind virus of the military. He needs to bring back the American dream for everyone. He has a lot to do in four years.
A quick observation: for those of you that commented in this tread, I suggest getting away for the State Media and cable news. I have said this before, you are being lied to. Believe it or not at your knowledge peril, Twitter is the best place to go for information. I suggest you seek out a few people that you can trust to be truthful in various subject matters. For instance, last night I did not watch cable news at all until around 2am. My wife was watching it and I had so much better and more up-to-date information from Twitter than what she was given by the so-called news people on TV.
Finally, maybe I should start a Forum Thread for “PJ Fans That Voted for Trump”. Look for it, maybe.
Happy days are here again….
Donald Trump is very flawed, but I have hope. Maybe it's simply because he doesn't fit nicely in to the two-party swamp. Who knows, maybe that's why there were attempts on his life this year? I truly believe the powerful people are concerned by his unpredictability.
Trump is part of the two party system. He’s been the head of one of them for nearly a decade now and has shaped it to be exactly what he and his handlers want it to be. That rational can be put to bed for good now.
Trump is as predicable as a sunrise. Flatter him, kick him some money, you’re in his good graces. Don’t and you’re not.As for the “powerful people.” Who do you think bankrolled his campaign? Answer… powerful people: Musk, Ellison, Koch and a slew of other billionaires. Bezos, Theil and Zuckerberg played along and contributed in their own ways as well. It’s one of the things that has always confused me about regular schlubs viewing Trump and billionaires as “champions of the people.” They could care less about anyone unless there’s a dollar to be made from them, but that’s the story of humanity.0 -
I was there two years ago I’m headed back there not Patagonia but close I have a nephew who’s a guide at a national park in that region I’m going to be looking at land to purchase and also looking at houses that are for sale! Hmm... maybe the DNC should've vetted her more when they had her speak at the 2012 National Convention or named her vice chair in her 30's. Maybe they thought they nabbed another puppet who wouldn't speak out when the party strayed from their ideals. So many of these politicians who come into power never question their powerful team again. They're becoming wealthy, they stay in power by not ruffling any feathers... And you call out the rare folks who don't go lock step with their powerful team? I'm seriously asking. I've listened to her and can't help but feel the democrats lost a good one. Once she spoke up, they absolutely tried to destroy her. That's the game plan.Gern Blansten said: Gabbard (a political chameleon)Remember the Thomas Nine !! (10/02/2018)

Because it's a knee jerk reaction that feeds the conservative narrative that libs can't handle it and will run and hide. Fucking fight for what's right and make it known you disapprove of things this incoming administration will most likely try to do! Look at it this way, 67+ million people also agree with you. You are not alone and there are literally millions of people ready to stand with you in support of human rights. It may seem like an uphill battle, but it is not a forgone conclusion that we give in to authoritarianism.brianlux said:tbergs said:

Why would you be annoyed by people who are considering a choice for themselves? Did someone tell you YOU should leave the country? No. Please don't do criticize people feeling desperate at a time like this. That's just not cool. It's a hopeless situation...0 -
They lost you for Donald fucking Trump?wnh1977 said:
Agree that they are doing amazing things. 100%. I should have mentioned that originally. Watching the videos of Jeff and the skate parks gives me goosebumps. Seeing poor kids in a rural part of the country get an outlet is heartwarming. Ed's support of EB, West Memphis 3, etc. Mike and advocacy for Crohn's... But good works and political support are two different things. If we're discussing the old argument of "the lesser of two evils" regarding the two-party system, I don't just default to the Democrats being the better option any more. I used to... for the majority of my life. They've lost me.HughFreakingDillon said:This notion that just cuz someone is rich means they are out of touch is bizarre. Are they living like Kardashians? No, they are still regular people doing goid work in the world. Out of touch propke don’t soend their time building skate parks for the underprivileged. And creating a foundation and working tirelessly to find a cure for a horrendous disease. And they don’t just throw money at these things. They spend TIME.
How anyone can possibly have looked at this or even the last two as lesser of two evil elections is beyond me. Prior to '16---sure, yes, absolutely (I am someone who has voted for both parties before and even third party once). But when one of the options is a man who literally tried to overturn the results of the last election.......I mean, what the fuck are we talking about? Congrats on saving him from possible prison time.
How did they lose your vote this specific election? What swung your vote? Genuinely curious.Post edited by The Juggler onwww.myspace.com0 -

Now if someone is seriously considering it because they believe it will better their lives, that’s one thing. And some conversations here seem to be along those lines.
But the “I’m going to move to Canada if ____ wins” that has been repeated by the Hollywood celebrities for 20 years is just old at this point and I’m unaware of a single person following through on it.0 -

How interesting that this election has emboldened several people who all of the sudden find AMT worthy of their time. The attack is on!Well, enjoy your dictator, people. Sorry about the buyer's remorse you will have to suffer through. As for me, I'm moving on to greener pastures. The inconsistency of what is and isn't allowed here is just not worth the headache. I will miss some of you, others, good riddance.PM me if you want to keep in touch elsewhere.Brian

Anyone think that Trump could have rigged/tampered the election results, especially in "the swing states" like PA and MI? Thought crossed my mind and I was talking to my mom and she actually thinks the same thing . She thinks the truth will come out before January that him, Musk and the Russians/Putin tampered with the election. I wouldn't put it past him but I'm not sure. I hope this happens but we shall see.

I'm not inclined to think so, but having said that, every accusation from him & his team has turned out to be projection, so it would track.eeriepadave said:Anyone think that Trump could have rigged/tampered the election results, especially in "the swing states" like PA and MI? I think trump just won the election. However, if you are talking Russia...I'm certain they did all they could to tamper with the election.Merkin Baller said:

Russia definitely tampered but I think it was more misinformation rather than rigging results.eeriepadave said:Anyone think that Trump could have rigged/tampered the election results, especially in "the swing states" like PA and MI?
