I saw that, too, but appreciated the masterful, artistic performances. Plus I got to teach Pipsqueak about poetic justice.

Thank you for asking  T 😊 I’m hanging in there, cabin fever … beautiful time of year to be out 😡since I can’t really put weight on it for too long… nice to get out to a film.

hope the lake has been kind for both of you, looks glorious … enjoy your big trip coming up, jealous😛

    And??

I didn't leave thinking it was great, and I didn't think it was bad either.  I read some reviews saying it was incomprehensible, but I don't agree with that at all.  It made perfect sense.  Good atmosphere and acting throughout.  Clear allegory about the US and Rome. Glad I
saw it.  People have to watch and decide for themself if they like this or not.

that's good to hear...I've only heard bad reviews and that just doesn't seen right since FFC is involved

Maybe one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen, goes nowhere … says nothing, waste of talent.
Hope you are doing okay, and glad you got out a bit. You have a dog, I think? Hope she’s taking care of you!

Watched based on a rec from my French father. Elegant, gothic horror which is terrifying in such a subtle and tasteful way. Loved it.

^Good one. Some great scenes and Blunt and del Toro are great. It’s a downer.

Yes, that’s the one. I’ve seen other films with Simone (most recently Room at the Top), but surprisingly not this one until last night. Incredible film, a true classic
