    You are a funny fellow, Jim.  Your descriptions of me are clever.  Well, look, I'll fill in some of the details you are missing.  Maybe this will make you feel better.

    On the down side:
    - I do have to admit to only having two degrees, about 120 college credits, and two collegiate level certificates, but no MA or PhD.  So yeah, not exactly a genius.
    - At one time or another, I've been  registered as Democrat, a Republican, a Green Party member, and have an interest in 19th century Proudhonian anarchy.  So yeah, as far as being a good, stable, independent thinker, shit man, I'm all over the fucking place.

    BUT, here's the part you will really like:
    - I'm 73 years old.
    - I have an autoimmune condition that causes me daily discomfort and greatly limits the types of food I can eat.
    - I have poor hearing including extreme tinnitus, hyperacusis, recruitment, and poor auditory discrimination.
    - I have skin cancer.
    - Have arthritis, neuritis, tendinitis, and deterioration in more joints than I can count (but then, like you said, I'm ignorant and can't count for shit).
    - I'm losing my voice.
    - And to top it all off, I'm having chronic memory issues.

    So yeah, man, I'm a veritable piece of shit.
