I guess I won't be sharing my most recent RHCP tattoo that I got to commemorate seeing them on my 50th in July? HAHAgimmesometruth27 said:
i don't know why. probably because he was in the chili peppers, which to me is in the top 5 worst bands of all time, lolHughFreakingDillon said:

i have never liked perry or dave but i know how hard they worked to put this reunion together and i hate that it ended this way. i was happy for all of the fans that were going to get to see them.Your boos mean nothing to me, for I have seen what makes you cheer0 -

That's nice. Sorry for all involved. Glad to read that. Take care of each other and ourselves.0

They should title it "2 Days". 3 Days was an homage to Perrys partying soooo.....HughFreakingDillon said:wonder if the new song will still come out in 2 days or not?0 -
I'm glad you wrote this - I've had a lot of similar thoughts too while scrolling through. Seems a lot of people want to find the perfect zinger as opposed to a bit of compassion.brianlux said:Man, reading some of the comments on FB regarding this issue, it's obvious some people don't realize the severity of dysfunctional relationships and the damage of addiction. I'm not suggesting we should all act SHOCKED!, or "get all emo", but how about a little basic understanding? Maybe some of these keyboard warriors have never known what it's like to personally see someone hit rock bottom or, worse yet, die from addiction. It sucks. It's not something you put up a fucking laughing-emoji about. It's not something you brush off. When you see someone's life go to hell or they die and you never get to see them again or have another chance to help them, you don't spew snarky shit.0 -
It's a shame. Sad all around.0

This is just so cool and amazing (not Jane's Addiction, but close enough): Sorry not direct video but the link is good.

I don't know. His wife put out a statement saying he barely drinks; the wine bottle on stage is mostly a prop; his issue is tinnitus and the band was playing too loud so he couldn't hear his own in-ear monitors. She even went so far as to claim that when he'd be speaking to the crowd, the band would purposely start playing so he'd stop talking to the crowd, interrupting him. If she is to be believed, the band pushed him over the edge.

Such a bummer. Saw them with Smashing Pumpkins and they were amazing. Hope he can get help that sticks. We’ll meet again, but not yet…not yet.0

Yup. They were great when I saw them too. It’s sad. I hope Perry can get himself to a better place. He seemed absolutely hammered in the clips I’ve watchedvmfury said:Such a bummer. Saw them with Smashing Pumpkins and they were amazing. Hope he can get help that sticks.0 -
I wouldn't say top 5, but I do agree that their popularity mystifies me. When that one song from way back when came out with Anthony "singing" I was blown away by how bad it was. And yet, they played it endlessly on the radio.gimmesometruth27 said:

I saw them in Atlantic City about three shows before the meltdown and I can confirm this did happen. Perry seemed pretty out of it at this show and his between song banter was really bizarre at times ("here's a suggestion the next time you get arrested......." or "how is the boardwalk here? can you buy crack?). There were several times where Dave/the band would start into the next song and cut him off. At the time I wasn't aware of anything going on between the band, but it was definitely noticeable.HughFreakingDillon said:I don't know.
