Was that leak of the merch on facebook yesterday real? If so, that will be 3 shows for me this tour so far and all 3 had disappointing posters.

Likely gone over before buried in some posts but if someone I had some questions with parking.

We are now driving down from Chicago and are driving back to Chicago right after the show. If possible I want to minimize the time spent waiting around after the show getting on the road as quickly as possible without spending the price for premier parking.

Any options? I dont mind walking 20 mins after to get to a spot thats not a long wait. Or is there free parking tips out there inside Ruoff that get out quicker?

We just decided we need a rental last minute so not really prepared for this and would love some advice.  Thanks!
Possibly parking at the nearby hotels?  Not sure there are a ton of other options.  There is an industrial complex nearby, but from what I saw last year they are monitored. Have you looked into sleepy bear campground parking?

We're doing the same....from West Dundee to the show, then back. It's going to be a long day...but a fun one!

I’ll be renting a car from the airport and driving straight there. The standard parking inside the venue is free. I am also concerned about being stuck in that lot, and don’t want to leave the show early. I have a small foldable cooler I’m going to bring with me and keep a little snack in for after the show in case we’re stuck.

Sleepy bear parking is sold out. Seems like all the restaurants close around 9-10pm on a Monday. Gotta think you’d be risking it. Same with the hotels, gotta assume they enforce some type of parking credential when checking in.

It seems that Aug 26 is shaping up to be the date.. anyone heard any other news for the Indy show?
Seriously?  They are going to make up for a show, by rescheduling it a year later on a freaking Monday??  Jesus Jones, these guys just can't stop screwing people over.

On another note, I thought I read we can get a refund on the tickets we bought 2 years ago.  Anyone know what the process is for this?  I don't think I'm going to blow 2 days off and another grand to see them play 20 songs, especially if it remains at this outdoor venue that apparently is a nightmare to get in and out of and has nothing around it for entertainment.  Its literally nowhere near Indy.
It literally is near Indy. Getting in is fine...getting out can be a fight just like anywhere else.
Near as in a 40 minute drive.  Its in the middle of nowhere with just a couple hotels nearby.  Just an odd spot for a large venue.
You don’t goto many Amphitheatre shows, do you?
the design and layout favors suburban/exurban locations. Chicago’s main “shed” is in tinley park, about 30 miles from downtown Chicago. In 1990, it was mostly surrounded by farm land. Now? It’s tucked in a pretty busy suburb.

I’m possibly walking from Wyndham, although with that heat, I may uber up and walk back after the show.
  • Was at the tornado warning show and remember the parking lot being massive.  Is the vip parking really worth it? Any tips on parking?

Anyone think we get the 27 mark for songs like Missoula? Would be nice.

My plan is to park at one of the nearby strip malls and walk over in the morning, one of us get in pit line and one in merch line. Once we get the merch, walk it back to the car and drive to the lot to park since it will be open by then.

So, it seems no benefit to purchasing the VIP/premier parking if your planning to go early since they don't open until 4?
