My buddy was so surprised when the twist comes with that one particular character. Fun to see it with someone who has never seen it.
Saw that here in Sweden they added some Coraline showings (non 3d) so might catch that.
Longlegs open here on August 31. Might catch that.
My friend want to see the new Woody Allen film also.
I also need to watch "Maniac Cop 2" because gonna join a friends horror podcast and discuss it. Have never seen the second one."Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -
            Yes, Romulus tonight! Tickets secured.
Longlegs is great, but I have some issues with some of the way the 3rd act is presented. It is not the second coming of Lambs or Se7en, but that’s okay.
My Alien newbie buddy also needs to watch Aliens, so a rewatch of that is on the horizon.
I need to see Maniac Cop actually, let alone number 2.0 -
The worst of times..they don't phase me,
even if I look and act really crazy.0 -
Alien Romulus - acting not great, but set design and cinematography is great.
Blink Twice - great directorial debut by Zoe kravitz, very dark plot, came with warnings at the start of the film.0 -

Hype from first teaser poster and trailer to release in 2003 - this is the biggest fall of a movie ever.Post edited by Spiritual_Chaos on"Mostly I think that people react sensitively because they know you’ve got a point"0 -

I didn’t adore it. But I didn’t hate it. It definitely falls prey to “playing the hits.” I think there is a lot to like in definitely the first half of the movie. It’s interesting to see life on a colony and how the company treats everyone.
However, the third act veers dangerously close to Resurrection territory.
I’m not sure how I feel about it or where I would place it in a ranking.0 -

A little weird and fun. At the beginning they had (literally) a *trigger warning* and let us know the violence and sexual stuff was fictionalized and not conducive of real behavior. Thank god! Literally half the theater laughed out loud.
