FAKE Texas Pearl Jam License Plates

To the Texas Jammer in the red Chevy Silverado pickup who thinks you're being clever by using the commemorative PJ plates from the 2023 Austin Texas show last September to avoid tolls in the Austin and Dallas area, I'd like to thank you for the countless hours on the phone with TxTag and the hundreds of dollars in toll charges that I've had to pay due to your dishonesty.  I've had the PRL JAM Texas plates for 14 years and since the Texas run of shows last year, it's been a nightmare dealing with TxTag to try and fight (unsuccessfully) all the toll charges you've racked up.  TxTag and the Texas Dept of Transportation now have a picture of your truck and will be on the look out for you.  Ahole.

    So this guy has personal licence plates of ‘PRL JAM’ for 14 years, and when Pearl jam last played Texas they had a fake licence plate as merch with the same characters? And someone’s been using that to screw over the OP?

    seems odd Pearl jam would include licence plates as merch considering this issue, but then who the hell would want a merch licence plate anyway.

    Looks more like they’re using it to avoid paying fees for new tags and tolls.

    The merch license plates, to me, are one of the better souvenirs to come out in the past few years. Basketballs, bags, etc are all too expensive.  The flip flops (with the orange teal colors for South FL) and these plates are low priced,  unique items for the shows that I really like. 

    They should have verified if this playe was already in use, though.  Vanity plate op has a real issue now due to this.

    License plates are a great souvenir.  1/3 the price of a poster or T shirt and fit well into carry on.
