Have listened to this show a few times this week, and I think I stand by my initial assessment that it's in my top 5 seen PJ shows, if not top 3. Only two ahead of it off the top of my head are Krakow '18 and Hartford '08. Just the perfect combo of setlist, band playing particularly well, and killer crowd
    2006: Hartford
    2008: Camden 2, Hartford
    2010: Hartford
    2013: Wrigley, Worcester x2, Hartford
    2015: NYC
    2016: Philly 2, MSG x2, Boston 2, (TOTD Philly 2, MSG)
2018: Prague, Krakow, Berlin, Boston x2
2022: San Diego, Sacramento, Las Vegas

Was late ordering the boots for both Vegas shows, but they arrived yesterday. Been listening to night 1 and god damm does it bring back memories of the show, like it was yesterday! Was the first time I got to see Breath live! Wow that was amazing! Was such a fun time.

Thanks! I still think this setlist is the best. Breath is always so amazing. I've been lucky enough to hear it 3 times live. Always incredible

With a new leg of the tour on the horizon, I thought that I would capture my thoughts on this show before I lose the memory. This was my first PJ show, which is absolutely absurd given that I have been listening to this band since Ten dropped when I was in 10th grade. I was the kid wearing ripped jeans and flannel shirts in the middle of Florida summers, trying my best to emulate what was happening in Seattle.

When I heard about this tour, I decided that now was the time. I managed to get selected for the Verified Fan presale for LV1, and scored a decent single in the wings of stage right. It was happening, whether I was going solo or with others, it didn’t matter. A good friend of mine who has also been a longtime fan eventually decided to join me. I would be heading out for both LV shows, and he would join me on Saturday for LV2. Our wives were to tag along and keep us company, but no PJ for them.

After months of endless refreshing on the TM app, I managed to get floor center, 2nd row. As much as I am a “pit or bust” kind of guy, this was probably as good as it was going to get for me. As I was sitting in my hotel room the day of the show, my buddy texts me asking if I still want GA. Apparently, he had carted a single GA, and was sitting on it while he texted me. Knowing how F2F is a sprint to the end regardless if it’s in your cart, I just rolled my eyes and said, “sure, I want pit”, realizing that he probably blew his chance. No kidding, less than a minute later he sends me the screenshot of the GA single that he landed for me. I don’t know if it was a glitch with F2F, or other people who didn’t jump on it fast enough, but this night was going to be epic.

By the time the show started, I was tucked up into a nice little spot between Mike and Jeff, about 20 feet back. I had hyped up this moment in my mind for so long that I was expecting to be disappointed. Instead, for the next 2+ hours I was absolutely blown away. At some point during Upper Hand, I remember looking around the arena, taking it all in, appreciating the moment that I found myself in. I was standing in GA because my friend cared enough to keep searching for GA even though I had pretty much given up on it. It was an emotional moment, as it had been a tough year personally, but I still had an ear-to-ear smile on my face.

A quick bio and beer break during Tremor Christ (not a favorite of mine), and I was back. Thankfully most folks did their break during Even Flow a few songs earlier, and I was walking back through the tunnel as Lukin kicked off. Corduroy followed by Breath just sent it to a whole other level. I was listening to Breath on the flight hours earlier, hoping, but in no way expecting to hear it. Once the opening riff kicked in, I just lost it. Alive, Ledbetter and Setting Sun capped off a show that I would never forget. I was hooked. I would become a 10C member less than a week later.

Riding a serious high walking out of the show, my wife texted me telling me that it would be another 2 hours before her flight landed, so I posted up at a $25 minimum blackjack table and spent the next 2 hours having a hell of a good time with a rotating cast of EDC attendees, double fisting Stella Artois, and apparently winning more than I was losing. By the time my wife arrived at the hotel around 2:00am, I was up about $1K. It was a great start to my 3 nights in Vegas.

I wish I could say that I did the smart thing and kept that $1K in my pocket and dropped it in my kid's college savings account upon my return home. But this is Vegas, and it always has the last laugh.  =)
