A grifter. A con. A carnival barker. This is what you’re voting for or against in November. Listen to the audio clips. And imagine. Don’t need to close your eyes.

The problem with the “trump is a liar” argument is voters would need to have an advanced understanding of current events to identify and understand his lies. He also uses bluster to bully his lies, which makes him appear like a strong leader. I don’t believe undecided voters would get those two points above like left leaning AMT readers.

But when Biden or anyone on his team tries to deny his health issues, they look like a complete  liar on the spot. Everyone immediately gets it, except those deeply embedded in their support for Joe.

No knowledge or understanding necessary. Undecided folks that don’t really follow political news can immediately call out Joe or anyone on his team and identify them as telling a significant lie in real time.

And far as those 34 convictions go, Eddie should retire the Payton jersey he again wore last night. With the Court obviously in his back pocket, that only gives trump more strength when he calls that a witch hunt.

biden has already lost the honesty argument to trump, and the criminal card is fading fast.
    so vote for trump then?
Why would that be the response?

You may not agree with what he's saying, but the argument he is making is not entirely far off. Times are dire at the moment.

Gee, not entirely far off. Haha forget about nailing it.

Instead of an election about Bidens record and fighting authoritarianism, it’s going to be about Bidens mental competency.

Dr Gupta (neurosurgeon) from CNN indicated  several concerns with Bidens debate performance  “confused rambling; sudden loss of concentration in the middle of a sentence; halting speech and absence of facial animation, resulting at times in a flat, open-mouthed expression.” They are also reporting Parkinson’s expert visited WH many times recently.

Biden claims his cold was so bad he almost fell asleep at the podium. If that were so, he should have apologized on the spot to the camera and explained what was happening. Surely nearly falling asleep during a pivotal debate live with trump on stage warranted Biden to immediately address the issue.

And now Biden is trying to bully the party to fall in line.

we are getting gaslit by the democrats. Maybe it’s time to roll the dice with the gop because I don’t trust anything coming out of the democrats right now

@The Juggler can we please have the title changed as his felonies will clearly be voided by Trump v US.
You think that falsifying business records for payments of hush money made before you were president is an official act of the president?
Lerx likely doesn't but Trump does. That is why his sentencing is pushed back a couple months.

Supreme court has muddied up the waters.

Actually…Hope Hicks had a key White House job and her testimony also was key for the prosecution. Good chance a federal court throws out the verdict based on that alone.

The fact that NY immediately delayed sentencing two months speaks loudly here.
The crime is the falsifying of business records, not the reimbursement of Michael Cohen. The crime happened in 2016 before the election. Indeed, the underlying act that made this a felony was that the crime was undertaken to influence the election-- the 2016 election. By definition, it cannot be an official act of the president if Trump was not yet president when he committed the crime. Hope Hicks' testimony does not change this. Her testimony is relevant to the extent that it sheds light on what Trump's state of mind was in 2016 when the crime was committed.

The delayed sentencing is a smart judge doing his due diligence. If this verdict is going to be vacated, I doubt it will be by Justice Merchan.
I gather speed from you fucking with me.

Sanjay Gupta has not examined the president. His opinion on this is about as informed as Doogie Howser's. The Parkinson's expert visited the White House many times during the Obama administration as well, and Biden just signed a bill to advance research to find a cure for Parkinson's last week.

Your last sentence is bizarre. I am neither a Democrat nor a Republican, but I can see that there are many Democrats, elected and otherwise, who are publicly raising concerns about Biden's fitness for office. How is that gaslighting? Meanwhile, the Republican party, its elected officials and entire apparatus-- including the RNC now being run by Trump's daughter-in-law, for Christ's sake-- are in lockstep behind their pathologically-lying, civilly-adjudged rapist, criminally-adjudged felon and malignant narcissist who spouts nonsense whenever he opens his mouth. And you don't trust the Democrats?! You want to roll the dice on what? Democracy? Women's rights? Christian nationalism? NATO?

It's a bizarre response even for the ever pessimistic Lerxst. Any person who actually understands politics knows this isn't a lesser of 2 evils situation like it's trying to be peddled. I expect people to have concerns about Biden, but then actually consider what the administration has done and the people making the important decisions around him. I am 💯 percent certain the Biden admin won't completely fuck over the country for their own self interests or green disease. This isn't a fucking coin flip.
    It's a hopeless situation...

It’s apparent that the administration has been dishonest, and the problem is voters do not need a fact check to observe the lies.

As far as Dr Gupta comments, of course he can’t make a diagnosis of Bidens condition, but as he states, there is something more significant about Bidens condition than “just a bad debate performance.” That’s just more misinformation from the Dems

The only way Biden wins is if voters accept his diminished state. Polling strongly suggests they do not, and Bidens path to victory is extremely narrow

While I am not very optimistic right now, that's clearly not the only way he wins. There are many variables that still exist...and the economy is still an enormous factor. It is better than most people realize, but if we get some better CPI news this week and in the coming months, along with a fed rate cut either later this month and or in September, that would definitely boost Biden's chances.
