Whatever Jack White is teasing on his instagram

    Love this 👍
wonder if it's a solo album or part of Raconteurs or dead weather? Sounded decent whatever it will be a part of

They were teasing Raconteurs were up to something a couple of weeks ago, but with the blue color scheme this is probably solo. Either way it sounds promising

Quit the list there including some people/ bands I need to familiarize myself with.
Others in the article: I pre-ordered the J Mascis, so no surprise there.  But Kim Gordon and Thurston Moore I didn't know about  (both could be good), and Lemonheads really surprised me.  Sure would be cool to see Even Dando doing some good music (not to mention just doing well in general).

  • Lenny Kravitz's  "5"  cd is deserted island stuff. His live shows are A++.
Super fired up for the new music from him

My Lenny experience turned me off to him. I was really into 5 (obviously played the hell out of Circus and Let Love Rule). Bought tickets to the 5 tour. He was co headlining with Black Crowes. After black crowes, Lenny came out, played maybe 2-3 songs, and passed out onstage. Someone came out and said he was dehydrated and the rest of the show was cancelled. Came out a short time later that it was drugs/alcohol. Also, no refund offered because Black Crowes already played. Ever since then I wrote him off. Will still listen to a few tracks from the above mentioned albums but was a total selfish rock star move.

Saw him at the Riv in Chicago and was super pumped for the show. 5 minutes into his set he started flirting with a woman he saw in one of the boxes beside the stage and the entire concert was him basically performing to her and never acknowledged anything else but her. It was super tacky and I have never even considered his music since.

I just saw him once (in Noblesville) for that tour and he was great. Sounds like we were lucky he made it through the show :)

Crossing fingers Joanna Newsom's record comes out, it's been 9 years since Divers, and she is up there in my top 5 artists of the 21st century for sure.

All just wishes, I don’t know if any of these artists are - or have hinted at - working on new material.

Hoping for some new Metric, Paramore, Guster, & Ghost. Really holding out for a Howling Bells reunion & album but not getting my hopes up for that one.

Another RNDM album would be fun. And Stone could keep cranking out Painted Shield records and I’d never tire of them.

MMJ should be out in the spring. Produced by Brendan.
This show, another show, a show here and a show there.
