What's the Best '08 Tour Boot?

edited July 2008 in Given To Fly (live)
Just wondering what people think the top 2 or 3 setlists are. I know they are all great, it's tough to choose. But if you could only have 2 or 3 boots from this tour, what would you choose? I got my Bonnarroo in the mail yesterday, and am thinking about buying 2 more shows from the tour. I'm thinking it's between Columbia, Hartford, MSG night 1 or Mansfield night 1 or 2.

Let me know if anyone has listened to a few of these already, and which sounds the best? Would love to hear some opinions, thanks!

MSG I, Hartford, or Camden I, in no particular order.

I'm listening to Bonnarroo, too. All Night sounded great, even with a little lyric hiccup. I thought the crowd would sound louder, though, since it was so huge. I guess they mute it a bit to allow the music to come to the front.

I havent recieved my Roo boot yet but Im guessing that "the crowd didnt sound loud" because there was nothing covering any of the crowd. It was just a vast opening. Not a seated ampitheatre. Just a guess because... IT WAS LOUD AS FAWK!!

Though I'm not exactly the biggest fan of the song, hearing that crowd absolutely belt out Better Man was a sound to behold. Unreal.

I listened to the Roo boot earlier today. It's a goodie. Ending with "All Along the Watchtower" was a great way to close the show.

BONNAROO! I listened to it for 8 hours today in the car.

Several times I found myself replaying a song while screaming...........

I think the Watchtower from Roo may have been one of the weaker songs of a great show. It felt rushed and didnt really have the crowd interaction that something like Baba would of had!!!

Columbia, Bonnaroo, and Hartford easily have the best setlists. No question about it.

I already got Columbia, and will get one of Hartford and Bonnaroo.

I'll get Mansfield II as well, because I was there. I have to keep my limit at 3, and will trade for the rest.

    I went to (3) shows.
Hartford and Mansfield 1 and 2.

My favorite show was Mansfield 2 followed by Hartford.
I liked the set list at Mansfield 2 more than Hartford.

I bought all (3) shows that I went to.

I am also going to buy Bonnaroo.

So far I have recieved West Palm Beach and Bonaroo. WPB is really good and Bonaroo is amazing. I was at both Camden 2 and Mansfield 2. I liked Camden 2 better. They were on fire that night.

Bonnaroooooooooo! Anyone have any good pics of the crowd. Yowzers what a night. Get the boot. Will not be dissapointed.

I will be getting both MSG I&II and Mansfield I&II cause I was there. Out of those 4, I am actually most excited about Manfield II, for personal reasons I suppose, last show of an amazing couple weeks.

so people here are saying that MSG II have a better crows, I bought it, what about talking in terms of setlist? should I buy MSG1? Do you guys think MSG2 has a better crowd because you can hear it in the boots, or you were there? because some boots you cant hear the crowd, they have mixing problems I think. I think when pear jams plays more than 1 day in a city, the first night is always the best in terms of crowd.

    saludos a todos!!!

Roo, and MSG 2 are my favorites, DC because I went to it, and it was one of the longer sets for the tour, so more for the money I guess, Mansfield 2 was super as well.

Bonnaroo and VA Beach are awesome. I know I'm going to get flack for this, but I find Hartford to be overrated. Even though it does kick some serious ass, its overrated. VA Beach is the most underrated show in years.
My first PJ show to witness was at Bonnaroo. How is that for lucky?
